This 20 min post ride stretch routine is the perfect yoga for cyclists session. This is suitable for anyone who enjoys cycling, whether that be indoors on Zwift or Peloton or if you’ve been outside on a BMX, mountain bike or road bike. You may need a strap for this class if you are particularly tight in the quad muscles.
This 20min yoga for cyclists class is at a slow and gentle pace to allow muscles to stretch, release and recover… This also makes the practise suitable for beginners and those new to yoga or stretching after cycling. Please feel free to share with any of your cycling friends!

I have a peloton and this is the best stretch flow for after a good ride! Thank you Helen❤️
Awesome! I LOVE the Peloton! Who's your fav instructor? Hannah and Emma are my go-tos! x
This is fab. I’ve had a peloton since April 2020 but only recently got into yoga ~ will definitely use this
Yay so glad you liked this Jessica :) I love my Peloton too! Have you tried the Peloton yoga or stretching classes? X
@@WellWithHels Yes I use most of the classes. Yoga only fairly recently. I'll hit my 25th class later! I'm plus size so have to make a few modifications but improving :) I'm fatgirlslim84 on the leaderboard x
Been loving your YOGA FOR CYCLIST videos! This one help so much to release a lot of built up tension in the thighs and lower back after my ride!!
Hey Nathan! So, so glad these are helping you post ride!! Thank you so much for the feedback! Hope you have a great weekend x x x
This is great - you have such a wonderful teaching manner. Do some of the poses work the psoas muscle, as I had a teary emotional release with a couple of them. Thanks for a great class.
Thank you so much for choosing to practise with me and leaving such lovely feedback ❤ Yes, that deep lunge will stretch the psoas 🥹 x x
i loved this thankyou

You are amazing Linda!! 💪🏽❤️ Thank you for sharing a stretch with me x x x
Hey lovely, are you still on keto? Would love to see some what i eat in a day video from you xx
Hey! Not at the moment, I'm just eating a regular vegan diet :) x
Hi Helen are knee to chest stretching ok to help glute maximus I've been struggling with this for months now and find a lot of other stretching exercises too painful so my workout routine is very limited to walking only at present
Hey! That's a great option if that's feeling good for you. You could also try a 'Reclined Pigeon' pose on your back, or search 'Seated Pigeon' pose as a couple more options to try.
Hey,
Could I ask for some advice. I have right sided hemiplegia which is a form of cerebral palsy meaning I have a weakness on the right side of my body. I am unsure how to approach some poses such as tree pose or side plank or poses that require weight bearing on the right. I can do some pose on my left side. I would love to some day be any to do them, as it would be a big achievement
Could I ask for some advice for how to adapt or replace poses to still build strength on the right side?
Hey Tilly! Thank you for your comment :) Unfortunately I'm not able to give specific advise for this, but I could give you some ideas to adapt poses such as tree pose and see what you think... With any balancing poses such as tree pose I always offer the use of a wall, as even though you will be using your hands, you will still be building strength in the balancing leg. For side plank, I would also suggest to modify (search 'modified side plank' for options) and also use the support of a wall or sofa behind you.... As you build confidence in the pose you can work towards moving away from the wall. Really hope that gives you some ideas and happy new year! xxx
@@WellWithHels thank you for the advice!
