Loving how the EXT looks on your bike. I fitted the EXT Arma MX as well, could never look back now, best shock for the surron!! I just fitted the fast ace 2.0 forks, much better thank the KKE that came on my surron. Great value for money too!! Would love to try the EXT ferro though.
Now I feel like with the "NEW FORKS", NOW the surron is pretty much officially complete. Like everybody else here in the comments, I didn't feel like you were going to last long with those 85 forks.
Do these use stock clamps? Issue I have is that no matter how clean or tight I get the clamps the front wheel can twist. Like straddle the front wheel facing the bike and hold it with with your legs and you/ I can turn the bars like an inch either side. Not good! This is why I thought the brace with Fox forks would be good. I’m running KKE.
Can someone explain to me why people spend several thousands of dollars on Light Bees to get 85 length forks, bigger batteries, bigger motors, extended (and wider) swingarm to accommodate wider 16” rear wheel, when a stock Ultra Bee with a smaller 16” rear would be just that: smaller than the Ultra’ but slightly longer than a Light Bee and with all the power? Love the fully modded 16/19” look and personally want a (just) slightly bigger, more powerful Light Bee for woods/freeride.
Light Bee will always be lighter and more nimble than the Ultra Bee. It's a more playful, toy-like bike. Also, the Ultra Bee has the looks and feel of a full-on motorcycle and whereas the Light Bee's smaller stature means it's easier to go under the radar and get away with riding around in the streets and non-OHV trails.
bro please tell me how to put the side plastics on the stock rear fender. I've been cutting files and can't get them to fit so well. thanks in advance!
anyone have any tips for me on how to set up my rebound and compression on my forks. I want to have a stiff feel for a 140 pound body weight. I have FastAce forks and they have a 12 clicks from soft to hard on both compression and rebound.
8" of travel will never compete with 10.8" no matter how good the valving is. I think it comes down to the type of riding you're doing most often. I do a lot of rocky technical MTB type trails so I will never go back to an MTB fork, I was legit getting arthritis. The CR85 front end is a game changer for the riding I do. But it def is heavier tho, but for me, it's worth the trade off.. Curious as to how well the EXT rear shock works, does it make a big difference?
Will you ever look at the Bos Obsys E-moto fork, its 220mm in the front with a 42mm stanchion so it will be stiffer than the ext and fox 40 but with 20 more mm of travel and E-moto dampening
@@mixmastamikal Hi Mikal, quick question who hurt you? The Bos uses 7075 aluminum and EXT uses 'Chromed steel' with no further specifications, so comparing materials is not very justifiable. in addition, assuming an added 6mm to the stanchion diameter will improve stiffness is not silly but the opposite, I don't know if you've ever ridden a mountain bike or if you just spend your time commenting on people's posts, but going from a 32mm stanchion to a 35mm stanchion made by the same brand was extremely noticeable and so I would think that it would with these forks too. I never said that the EXT forks were bad, I think that they're quite good, and I didn't mean to somehow offend your precious baby that based on your comment you hand-crafted in a dungeon while being wiped by people working at BOS. I'm sorry that you didn't like my wondering how the BOS obsys compares to the EXT Ferro
Interesting getting more feedback on KTM85 conversions.. though I would have much preferred the reverse statement "Why I DON'T regret"!. I'm currently doing exact same thing for Talaria Sting, just hoping I will be more satisfied as I am looking for dirt bike like behavior. But I think, in my case getting an UltraBee will probably better option instead, as costly power upgrade will also be required to match extra weight. Regarding EXT Ferro, as other channels mentions it seems like perfect fit for Talaria Stings and Surron LightBees
Lol😅😂😂😂 i knew this would happen alot of things look sick on a surron but does it work?! Lol naa ive seen it on multiple videos. If your trying to ride like a dirtbike buy a dirtbike lol no matter what u do to the surron its not a dirtbike fight me over it 😅 i have a surron with a ko setup and i love it, its super fast but it will never be a dirtbike im also a mtn biker with a 11k build so dont try me on the tread on what it does to the trail it does nothing
EXT > 85. Glad you made the switch. Best feeling Forks in the world.

I had a feeling you weren’t going to last with the 85 forks, I’m loving my tuned fastace forks tho, can’t be beat for the price!
the bike looks so fucking good with the EXT stuff
ext best fork ever for the Surron, glad u switched
I bet if someone made a subframe and swing arm combo to match the 85 geometry it would work for a moto or offroad only.
Put the 65 front fender back on it makes it look so much more aggressive
Arma ext stuff actually made specifically for sur Ron and talaria
Brother man is putting that 85 fork on a Ultra 🐝
can i buy the 85s you took off?
how to the EXTs compare to like race tech or WP
how fast did you get up to when you hit the off road?
Love the new forks. Great vid!
So how often do the forks require service? Would they need sent in for service?
Does it work on a talaria?

They are EXT crowns and they don't twist.
Can you not put a front fender on them?

If you don't get it you never will
New forks 🔥🔥🔥
Those forks would be sick on a ttr125 or klx140 as a upgrade
I stuck Showa 85 forks on my 190 pitbike. Night and day transformation 👌🏻
What front brake caliper did you use like what brand
Hey bro can you give us a run down of your settings next time ? I’d appreciate it 🙏🏼
Those forks are only $2K but nice to get them for free!
bro please tell me how to put the side plastics on the stock rear fender. I've been cutting files and can't get them to fit so well. thanks in advance!

Love the vids Zay, Im wondering are you going to run the 85 forks on an Ultra Bee?
👀👀
That's what I'm planning in case I sell my Sting to get Ultrabee instead, though UltraBee front suspension are probably good enough...
Considering that's what charged cycle works does and zay got his ext forks from charged ya that's prob what hes gonna do.
Man looks so good I reasently had to sell my surron bcause of cops but man I really miss my surron but urs looks great
Yo what do use to seal ur forks
how much do you pay to get your lowers coated and where
Hi bro new sub here. Where did you buy your tail fender? It is so cool.
Would WP air forks be better because they are lighter than the ones you had?
They were wp air forks. I just had the kyb stickers
Ive not done anything to my ron got it 3 months ago what you think i should do also new forks
zay love ur vids i hope 1 day i will be lucky and get a surron 2:)
looks a lot cleaner with ext forks and better and lighter
do you have a link to the 85 forks?
If your doing harder riding though 85 forks are better wheelies though you don’t need them
What about the front fender 😢
Were gonna rig one up soon 🤝
@@ZaySolis119 good deal brother 🫡
I have an Ktm SX 85 and nobody complains about the noise sos hould i buy an Surron or keep the 85
Keep the 85.
Called it.
what brakes you running
Surron's only weakness is the motor everything else is pretty much A++
How much air pressure you run on your Tires?
On a actual dirtbike like 12-14 depending, on my Sur Ron I just pump it up 🤣

It's a game changer for sure. You don't know how much performance you're missing out on.
I most like might run the 85 forks. I’m a heavier guy.
How many kw u running zay?
New forks

EXT ferro has steel stanchions and dynamic bushings so claiming that the obsys is stiffer based only on stanchion diameter is kind of silly.

is it just me or he rides in travis scots?
So you think the forks are worth $2500 and losing the MX brakes and going back to a mountain bike wheel? No way!
I can run my Moto brake on this set up if I wanted, also I don’t have a mtb wheel 😂🤦♂️
@@ZaySolis119 what wheels do you have?
Warp 9
@@ZaySolis119 🤣🤣🤣 even their moto wheels are cheap Chinese wheels.

Naw fam fox 40s over everything
Absolutely not lmao
trash
Stock motor 😅 that prob why also need actuall power make KTM feel good

👌👍
lmao yall so worried about wheelies 🤦♂️
85 forks for the win fuck mnt bike forks
They're not made for Surrons, they're made for electric bikes such as Surrons, Talarias etc
Calling a depreciating asset an “investment” is crazy 😭😭😭
When are you getting a new pro ss?
