So I guess the 03 is like the C&R from a decade ago. I think the C&R stands for curios and relics. Firearms over 50 years old and not in current production. Good explanation of the various levels of ffl.

if i am starting my own business to cerakote uppers and lowers or complete firearms. im kind of lost on what type to get? i want to be avalible for people to possible ship to me or bring them into my shop.
You will need an 01. It is the same as "gunsmithing."

An 01 with an 03 SOT. It is kind of a pain. I will make a video on it in the near future.
I want to ship firearms to my house to keep for personal use. But I also want to be able to ship firearms for friends and family. I also want the ability to make firearms. Should I go with a type 07?
If you are only making them for your self then you don't need an FFL to do so. In that case I would go with an 01, but if you also want to make them for others then yes an 07.

07/02 FFL/SOT combo, but it is a pain to get. And once you lose the license you can't keep the machine gun.
When filling out the application. Do I check 01 box and an 07 if I want to deal but also manufacture or will checking box 07 cover both? Thanks man
Yes, an 07 will allow you to both manufacture and deal firearms.

I just wanna own full auto pistols/ rifles for my personal collection not interested in selling but maybe a I might sell one or two if I don’t want the weapon anymore later down the line what would you recommend
Edit: I’m leaning toward an 03 just because I heard you mention personal collection but I’m not sure with the potential of selling a full auto firearm later on in life but not selling firearms as a way of income
If you don't plan on actively doing business they won't approve it. Otherwise you are on the right track an FFL/SOT combination of an 01/03 would be what you want. But again if you don't want to do business then the only other option is to drop 10-50K on a pre 1986 model.

I’m looking to just buy machine firearms for range purposes only but also want to buy AP ammunition. What should I go with type 01 or type 07?
Machine firearms? Machine guns? In that case 07/02, but it is a LOT of paper work. If you own a range I would get a pre-sample machine gun. As for AP ammunition you already can use AP ammunition for rifles if you live in a free state.
what would be best to get to start a youtube channel and not need a nics check everytime i am transferred a gun?
You don't need an FFL for a RUclips channel. And you have to be engaged in the business of firearms not just using your FFL for yourself, but yes it will let you skip the 4473 if you have an FFL. But in most free states you skip the NICS check if you have a CCW.

Man I’m jumping between 1 and 7. Basically I need a 1 but I want to just simply put together ARs and re-sell. Should I just go for 7
I would go with the 07, because frames and firearms are in two different categories. Even though you aren't manufacturing your frames you are still manufacturing a completed firearm from the frame. You could always call the ATF just to be sure.

If you get an 07 ffl does the ITAR fee still apply if you're not manufacturing/dealing or importing NFA items?
Honestly that may depend on the people that you deal with at the ATF and how hard they want to make your life. If they say it applies then it does, but if not then it doesn't. This is the ATF we are dealing with they change their mind based on how they feel when they wake up in the morning... :/

That depends on you state. If you live in a free state then you don't need an FFL to ship ammo to your house. If you live in CA then yes you will need an FFL and CA has some additional restrictions on FFLs. It is a real pain.
