That 'hai' at 5:49 surprised me. Even with his raspy, shaky 'old man' voice, Javed sahab actually sings way better than Anu Malik.
Some people may not agree with me, but Javed Akhtar Sahab is the gem of India today. Extremely talented writer and poet, highly knowledgeable linguist, well-researched, up-to-date scholar, clear-headed rationalist, and one of the very few people left who still have a spine. A spine to say the truth out loud without hesitation. My heartiest respect to him.
