The Pakistani ‘President's Pride of Performance’ awarded singer Shafqat Amanat Ali is the son of Ustad Amanat Ali Khan. He belongs from the 9th generation of musically famous Patiala Gharana. The gharana is appreciated worldwide for its concentration on intricate taan-patterns and sargams. Since the age of four, Shafqat took his lessons Hindustani classical music. Uncle Ustad Fateh Ali Khan Sahab and Roshanara Begum is a big influence on Shafqat after his father. His every performance shows the shows the ability of classically trained voice and his command over modern music. His sincere and heartfelt voice mesmerized the audience of Dhaka International FolkFest 2018.
The euphony of Folk music from around the world comes back to its’ abode; to the land of Lalon, to the rivers of Bhatiali, to the sound of Bhawaiya.

They were in love with music by their soul and heart, Unfortunately Asad Amanat passed away under the age of 50, What a great singer He was. This guy is also lovely singer . The venue was Army Stadium , Dhaka cantonment close to my residence . Sometimes my wife (expired eighteen months before ) , my young son n I enjoyed many music nights there for several years .
But unfortunately we couldn't make ourselves present that night .
I have deep regards for this legendary singer , Shafqat Amanat Ali . I enjoyed this performance so many times but I am constrained to pronounce with my warmth of heart to day that it was one of his best n popular performances . When I listen , it gives me sweet feelings that I am in the midst of this lovely , jubilant crowd n enjoying .
May ALLAH bless Mr . Amanat Ali n us all .

Luckily I was there, One of the best live performances i've ever seen..not only his singing, the way he was interacting with the audience..... outstanding! He performed 1.45 hours continuously, non-stop.
