Well, but the bigger it gets the bigger joints it needs
Well there are Lego transformers that work, like Optimus prime. So because of how technically pieces like this are able to rotate so well, compared to regular ones;and can probably be made to "tab in" if done correctly. A skilled enough person may be able to modify this to a point it is close enough.

I'd love to know some things before buying this set and since you own and have built it, can you answer them?
1. Are the bricks decent quality? Doesn't have to be lego plastic quality but just won't crumble in a year.
2. Can the set stand up and pose on its own without falling. Would kind of be missing the point of it if not.
3. Is the company you bought it from trustworthy?
4. Most importantly, were the instructions hard to understand or interpret?
5. Wad it fun to build?
I looked at the cost and how long it would take to get to my location and the shipping price and its not outrageous or nearly as expensive as I thought, so if you or someone else takes the time to read and answer these questions, please let me know 🙏. You already have my sub and like.
I want to know too because I looked their website and there was this cool Iron Man figure I'm kind of tempted to get but I'm too concerned about quality.
1. quite good quality. the pins are sometimes a little loose, but there is a lot of them, so they can be replaced.
2. not all poses are possible. the model is quite heavy. the joints in the hands have a problem with gravity
3. I took a risk, but they sent a complete set (without box)
4. the instructions are quite simple, I think I only had a problem in 2 places
5. i forgot to eat for 2 days :D
the sounds are too satisfying I nearly died
All we need now is Optimus prime
