I just put this one together last week and took it out yesterday. A word of caution - make sure your ESC is secure as well as your battery (which I see you experienced.) The thrust on my maiden pulled out one of the three motor wires and down it went but fortunately into some tall grass that saved it. Listening to your video I hear the same loud vibration noise near max throttle. Not sure what to make of it. Have fun and thanks for the video - cheers!
DS RC Planes... Lovely plane and flying. Cool aerobatics, good stunt plane, and lots of fun. One suggestion, to hold the battery in place ..you can use a toothpick or a bit of hard plastic . Cheers See you again on JeffsCustom RC's channel and all the best to you.
Cool plane, and what a nice price. I watched a build video earlier and its super simple, considering it requires some glue. I like that the rear stabilizer has the center marked so it only fits one way. Great big flight control surfaces, It looks like someone with real 3D skills designed and flew it. 13g metal gear servos, so you probably dont need to replace them, and the motor sounds like a beast.
Nice flights. I’ve been hammering on mine for a couple weeks now. Hard to beat for the money. Keep an eye on the motor mount screws that fasten the motor to the x-mount. They came loose very quickly on mine, no loctite
@@W0KNI Have you worked out battery placement to reach a good CG yet? I am finding that I reach proper CG if my battery is hanging about 3/4 inch off the back of the battery tray. To test CG I was doing a 45 degree upline inverted after adjusting battery placement and trimming. Curious what others are finding.
Half dozen flights on mine, and it's falling apart. Minute and half into first flight a bullet connection to the motor arced internally and lost motor power. Got it down luckily. Cleaned it up, put together and tape them for security. Next two flights the wood disc's for the wing screws start pulling thru the fuse. Now the wing spar is really loose in thy fuse. Firewall is pulling out of the foam and tearing the foam around it. Hot glue and now tape the cowl on as the magnets pulled loose. Today the solder connection on a motor wire melted and came loose. Hard landing without power. Hard wired motor to esc. Next flight the wood battery hold down pulled loose in a roll. Battery went back and wedged under wing spar. Got it on the ground. I'm glad I only paid $100 for it from a club member. Def not worth the retail price. My FMS rochobby MXS is a far better plane
You can't believe any reviews anymore these days. So good you bought two??? It's typical low Hobbyking quality. Check the thread on RCgroups before you buy this. Definitely not worth the money.
Free up some rpm Ballance that prop! ✌🏼😎 Cool plane, nice flying!

We think it's a very good value for the money.
great flight. that's way better than. I can do
Thanks 👍

After more flights our prop noise kept getting louder. We found a mount issue as well.
@@dsrcplanes I wondered why the motor sounded a little unbalanced, and growly.
Yep! Motor mounts came loose on 3rd flight and even ate up some of the cowling. Very bad growling near 75% + throttle and up.

@@justinmiclette we have not flown since the maiden video day. We had very bad weather for several days now.

We had 2 of these, one was crashed and put away. the other, we are still flying. It is a lot of fun.
