My loves...the shirt you are wearing throughout the haul paired with the denim shorts of course (love the juxtaposition), the striped flouncy shirt (love ,love love), the dark rigid shorts (are they dark denim, if so, even better) and the so\ilky blue patterned ones with the diagonal cut leg (I think they are a French knicker cut).
I love vintage, but I’m at the age where it would just look like I haven’t cleared out my closet in 50 years…. So it’s nice to see it on a younger woman who can do it justice.
I love vintage as well but I find it best paired with jeans or leather to toughen up and modernize the look and since I work retail and jeans aren’t allowed, so I thrift a lot of houseware, but I truly like the quality of vintage, specially belts, I have too many don’t tell anyone
Lovely try-on haul! I was surprised by how much black and white you got. Such great pieces. The patriotic t-shirt is the Chilean flag. You say you like the light green colour of the silk blouse, just not on you. I think it looked great against your tan! Lastly, and I hope this doesn't come out sounding weird, I think it would be great if you could do a video tutorial/try-on about choosing the right bra shape/fit based on the top one's wearing. I've been watching your videos for a good while and really admire your bra/top combos. Your bras never show when they shouldn't and when they do (with sheer blouses), you always choose one that adds so much to the look. Undergarments can make such a difference on a look and you always manage to choose the ones that don't make you look dowdy or too risqué. I myself am nearing 40 and have been playing it safe for almost 2 decades by always wearing a chemise under sheer tops. However, I would love to get some tips from you to perhaps risk something different that still looks good and appropriate. I love your videos, your love for fashion and expressing yourself through it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me such a detailed comment, Nanni 🙏 So glad you enjoyed the haul! It's funny, in my 20's, I wore so much black. In my 30's and 40's, I steered completely clear from black as I thought it aged me. And now at 51, I just feel so good in black! I've come full circle and I will always be down for a black and white outfit! 🖤 I had no idea that was the Chilean flag! How ignorant of me! Now I love it even more! 🇨🇱 I can totally relate to playing safe. My personal style has never been overtly sexy or provocative. That doesn't interest me. I dress for me and nobody else. But I do enjoy playing up my femininity, and feeling attractive. It all comes down to confidence. What I put on my body and how I wear it has to feel inherently me. I've always loved wearing a contrasting bra under a sheer top. Wearing a chemise underneath changes the whole look of the sheer top, which is why I never wear them. If I do wear a chemise, it's with a cosy grandpa cardigan! Perhaps I should address undergarments in a video or vlog soon, as you're not the first person who's broached me about it 🤷♀️ Thank you so much for watching my videos, Nanni. I'm so glad you enjoy them ❤️
@@THEJODEDESAESTHETIC I totally understand dressing for yourself, nobody else, and avoiding a colour for a long time only to feel differently about it at another point in life. I hated all shades of pink from the time I was 6, but just this last year have started opening up to some shades. Writing bout this actually made me think of what you wrote about not being overtly sexy or provocative, but playing up femininity and feeling attractive. I think those things were very much connected in my case: an early association of pink with femininity, which I also linked to being sexy and ended up avoiding all of it. However, I now see the three as separate and am also not avoiding dressing in a more feminine manner, so that may have opened me to the realm of pink. ☺ Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm glad you might address undergarments in a video or vlog soon. I'll keep an eye out for it.
Mouthwatering selection of pieces. Dresses and skirts are always my favorite clothing and I LOOOVE accessories 😍 I swear we are sisters in spirit because I COLLECT VINTAGE NIGHTIES as well.
Wow, spectacular Jo! Thank you for all the time and effort. I have a little pearl collar! I've had it for 20 years or so and wear it rarely, but I do love it.
Thank you, Heather ❤️ I wear a strapless bra by the brand Chloe and Lola. It's the only strapless bra I can wear. If you're an Aussie like me, you can get them in Myer. I have a nude and black one!
How much fun is it to find op shop treasure? The fact you find them and then pass them on for other people to enjoy as well is just the icing on the cake. P.S love you
Vintage fashion becomes you. I love to thrift and have been trying to rid my closet and garage of my special finds…but it’s not easy😂 you’ve found some beautiful things. Love these videos🤗
💟 Yep definitely a little giggle when you showed us that teeny tiny bikini.....no way jose...I wouldn't be caught dead in it even when I was 20 yrs old! You found some gorgeous pieces in that collection. Hoping you're feeling better nowadays, I haven't heard you speak about it so assuming no news is good news! Thanks again my dear!!! 💟💜💟
WOW, I LOVE LOVE the sparkly cocktail dress!! I am gaga for sparkly!! Did you sell that?? You said you weren’t hefty enough in the breast for it, but it looked fine to me. Very pretty. I could see that on a trip out for a very nice dinner some evening!! Also, I’m not much on skirts, but I really did love the ones you show in this haul!! I wish I had the shops here that you have there, or, we’ll maybe not!! I’d be more broke than I am now. 😅😅
While you having a little giggle, they are wearing next to nothing for a two piece bathing suit anymore. These ladies just don’t have and don’t know what the word RESPECT means at all. IJS
I remember when you used to be very shy an apologize every time you showed your rolls and now you are confident enough to show more skin👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very true, Ana Maria. And very perceptive of you. It only took me 50 years! 🤷♀️❣️🙏
You killed me with that "dental floss" expression 😅😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love to make people laugh 🙏❤️😂
Yes please would love to see the vintage nightwear. I also search for those in op shops (thrift) and have found some beautiful vintage slips etc
If I get more yes’s, I will. If not, perhaps a shorts video 🤷♀️
So many beautiful treasures.
Thank you, Minette ❣️
I would love to see your vintage sleepwear collection!

I am in love with the country road jacket, I would style it with a button down, maybe with a black print under, I love the sleeve length
I just knew somebody would vibe with it and know how to style it 👏
Hi Jo,
Another haul with great findings 👏
Glad you enjoyed it, Patricia ❣️
The country road jacket is so chic! I would wear it button up with wide leg jeans and platform shoes😊 very 70s vibe.
