- The REMUS 8 is the newest exhaust option available for the BMW R1200GS! It features a Stainless Steel body with high temperature Black finish, highlighted by a Carbon Fiber End Cap.
As far as the sound goes, the REMUS 8 delivers! Deep and throaty without ever being obnoxiously loud. A well definied roar under acceleration which brings out the best of the R1200GS.
Additionally, the REMUS 8 features a removable noise insert that allows the customer to manually change the sound volume.
Just installed mine on my R1200GS 5 days ago. Tried it with the baffle in and it was a HUGE improvement in throttle response and sound and I definitely felt some more power, especially down low in the rev range; it feels like my bike just had a Dyno. After 3 days I took the baffle out. A little too loud but acceptable. The bike sounds even better and even more power gains were felt. The throttle and acceleration are perfection now. This slip on has transformed my bike and is definitely worth the money. Remus ROCKS!
