Just to spitball ideas for reasons why Ozcar can be included into the story, one possibility is he has his own goal of discovering what the true history of Remnant is. As he travels to the academy to request use of their library, he meets the team there and perhaps from his independent research knows a little about the silver eyes and from there he sort of joins them. How he found out the things he knows, I don't know, I'm not a writer.
Something else that could be used by itself or used in tandem with the first idea is that he is related to Hazel, either as a nephew or distant cousin. It could give an opportunity to learn more about Hazel pre-Salem and set up chance for a potential changing of sides. Shame that we're already in volume 4, because it could have given the Ozcar and Hazel scene at the station a different context.
I just hope to see Oscar be included in this fixing series at all, since he won’t be the vessel for Ozpin, but I still hope to see him there, so he and Ruby can have their cute moments

For Winter's rank I would imagine something on a similar level to Captain/First Lieutenant who happens to be General Ironwood's aide-de-camp/adjutant. But he would have someone more high ranked as his actual second in command and deputy. (Clover might be able to fit that role?)
Make up a unique rank* to emphasize that the Atlas military exists in a fantasy world and that turning the military into a branch of government would create something much different from what the average RWBY viewer would know.
*something like the General's Hand or Executor or maybe something that hints are her being in line for Maiden-hood.
The white fang version of "uncle tom" would be "house pet" or "domesticated" or something similar.
"Collared", "Leashed", calling someone a "leash".
@@heirofaniu I could see leash, but the problem with "collar" is that you can collar a feral animal against their will to keep them under control. It doesn't have the same connotation that "domesticated" does. Overall, leashed, house pet, declawed, and similar terms implying animal husbandry would make the most sense as insults for people who derive identity from their feral origins.
@@MasterDecoy1W you make a good point but the idea of wearing a collar denotes that you are lower and, whether in accordance with your will or not, you are subservient to whoever has collared you.
OzWick meets Oscar and Oz says to roman "That was my second choice you know." roman replying sarcastically "Ah, makes perfect sense, 10 year old farmboy who has never held a weapon in his life, i can see you are wise beyond your years"
Nobody actually uses the satchel of explosives, they lay forgotten for years after the school has been rebuilt, and then one day they just go off because they've become unstable with age.

Okay a few things, you can call this a fan work, an alternative universe, a fanon, etc. But all of those names represent the same thing, it's a non-canon story created by a fan, which fits on the category of fanfiction. And there is nothing wrong with fanfiction, there are cases of great fanfiction, there are of good fanfiction, there are cases of okay fanfiction and there are cases of bad fanfiction, *the problem, like with everything in life, it's that the bad usually sticks longer on the short term, and fanfiction doesn't have short term, so it's always stuck on your mind and people never get in their mind that like with everything there is good and there is bad.*
Also to what you said on 56:44 oh that's very common a fandom collectively deciding on the loud majority that this sucks because i said so, so we are going to burn that character, it shouldn't exist, burn, burn. It's bad, it's useless, it's the worse because it gets in middle of my pairing and because everything i think is perfect, my pairing should be canon and everything that gets in the way even if it shouldn't burn down, will burn down.

but I'd rather love you from a distance then break you up close.
See at the very least this would not only give a slight redemption in the fans eyes but also development showing that she still loved her in a small way(this at least gives some character development by proxy for tai)

1:27:00 the way i saw it, qrow always used his sword mode against people and his scythe mode against grimm. hence his fight with winter being in sword mode, then when when she summoned her grimm, he swapped into scythe mode
Fatman, the general rule with EFAP is you get what you give. If you were to come on antagonistic and start calling them retarded, they'd respond to you with equal insults (plus worse in the case of rags), but if you're genuinely respectful and just want to have a conversation they'll be more than kind to you. So yes, you and Mauler/the EFAP crew could have a fairly decent conversation, but only if you go in with the intention of having a conversation to begin with.
BTW I'm curious what episode Fatman was featured in for anyone that knows.

40:30 The Walking Dead had a similar issue, and it kinda ruined the show. They'd dedicate episodes to characters, and would rotate, but it dragged on. For example, character A would get episode 1, B would get 2, and so on. But we wouldn't see A until the rotation of characters completed. It became a problem, when people wanted to see certain characters. It's why despite the show having a peak of 30 million viewers, and an overall average of 15 million, it ended with less than 3 million.

I LOVE your fixing of RWBY, & I’m hoping u could fix Gen:Lock. (Season 2 desperately needs it!)
Gen:Lock doesn’t need a rewrite, it needs an exorcism.
The dynamic can be done well but I'm not a fan of the possibility of Abuser x Abused, who knows you may change my viewpoint and do it well
But we'll see.
If we get to the Atlas part of the story can we go with Freya being Nora's grandmother or would that be too fanfic-y?
How to explain Nora living in the streets, though.

I see “fanfic” being thrown around as an adjective and I’ve always wondered what specifically you mean by that? Like what does “being fanficy” mean?
Best I figure, fanficy is when your going past who the characters are and into what you want them to be.
Fanfic is fan fiction or fanmade fiction.
Being fanficy is being like fan fiction.
So a rewrite going fanficy would be if you add things that you want to see as a fan that might not make sense in the actual story or not be practical.
