😂 Sometimes Barbara just do, and then “Oh no!” 😂 But, she always finds the perfect solution solution! This made me so happy! 💕 Gut gemacht Barbara! Wieder sehr inspirierend! 😘😘 aus Belgien 💖✨
LOve the dangles!! You look so much like your mom. What a wonderful feeling you must get when you turn the pages of your journals and see your loved ones!
Love you too Barbara. This was an excellent video. You look so much like your mother it's so sweet. I always save my negative from doing circles and now starting to do die cuts
Barbara I love how you don’t edit things out. It shows me that it’s ok if what we had planned to do, isn’t what happens, because we can just go with a different approach. Love the dangle. ❤
Hello BarbaraI love watching you so much. I always can't wait for a video from you and Luise. You are the spitting' image of your mom. When you said your mom was cute I said (and you didn't hear me) "So are you, Barbara" I love how you are using your mom and dads photo's. What a way to honor them. I might as well do something using their wedding and other photos and when the time comes for their funeral we can use them. Beautiful ideas you have. Sending Love and Hugs from Indiana USA
I love using the negative space. I’ve only been using them for a few weeks now. But they are so fun to save. These little bottles are adorable. They go with the beads so well!! Your snacks today were delicious! Thanks for inviting me over! Lol💞💗💞
I love your videos, I am very eclectic and I like how you are that way with your journals, so inspiring. I especially love your 7.5 series I always struggle with thinking of embellishments, I hope you'll have more of those. I also like the videos where you show how to use doilies *i use them often* and envelopes etc.
This is how I work. I have all of my journals on a shelf, and I just pick whichever one inspires me that day, and work in it. If I ever bought a journal, I might be inspired to work in it continuously though.
I love the dangles very much, and the glass bottles with sequins or mico mini beads are a great idea... I will do that to my fairy enchanted journal (in the making) muah-muah!
Watched this yesterday!! And loved it as always. Love the transparency prints. Yet another thing I can't live without! Barbara, your channel is so inspiring....I can't wait to watch your new vidoes!! You have such a unique style!! And love binge watching past videos too!!
Loved to watch this video Barbara, you are always so fun to watch and inspiring too. Beautiful dangle, love the little bottles and a beautiful page with those family photo’s😍😍 Greetings Maia
So interesting that paper beads are making a comeback. I made paper beads forty years ago. I think I also made some at Bible Camp fifty five years ago. They look fabulous on your journal. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
I've been wanting to make paper beads - they're such awesome little trinkets! And great page, I love how you worked through it, the final result was fabulous!
Hi Barbara ❤. You can use the partial stenciled circles as buttons for another project. Cut a smaller circle ⭕️ and stencil it. Just a thought 💭. Hugs 🤗 Dee
Love the dangle and the transparency photos were a great idea! I really love the vibe you created with the stencils, perfect! Love hanging out with you on Sundays!💕🇨🇦
Barbara, I have some of those jars and now I want to use them! Never thought to put sequence in them. And never thought of just using embroidery floss looped through the hole! Love it! Despite you forgetting to color the white, you always show us ways to getting around something. I was so happy you used the picture of both your parents, the bottom picture. I love that picture. I never thought to put my die cuts and negatives from die cuts in a bowl like that. I keep the extra die cuts in the package. And I have only kept a few negatives. I will be finding a bowl to now keep those in. Great idea. Absolutely love this page. Thanks for always inspiring us! TFS!❤
I have enjoyed watching your technique for hanging a dangle on your book...will definitely give this a try. I'm also creating some card that feature dangles. Easy to follow tutorial. Thanks!
Barbara...I am loving these makeovers!🤩 I was so excited on your first one, because I have a journal that needs an overhaul, big time. Well, it belongs to my 2nd eldest grandchild. But, I have access to it. lol. It turned out beautifully, except...I had used a composition notebook, which was popular at the time..."But, Mom...everyone was doing it!".🙄 Hahaha! Then, I stuffed it full. Doh!! It was before I really "knew" what I was doing, & only my 2nd journal.🤷♀ I've been wanting to sort of dismantle it, rearrange the pages into multiple signatures, and widen the spine. Your makeovers are really helping me with ideas to do so. Thank you!💗 Your dangles are so cute! And, I L💚💛💚VE what you did inside too. When you jazzed up the background with Forest Moss & stenciling, the impact was amazingly perfect! Thank you for taking us along on your creative journey...what an adventure!😉 Love and blessings, Tracy. xoxo
Love how the page came together and the stenciling on the journal page is perfect. I’m surprised you didn’t hear me yelling from Florida-“Stop! You forgot to color the frame first””!” 😂😂😂😂😂
Sometimes Barbara, l am calling out to you things like "don’t forget to colour the card first!” 😂😂😂 You make me laugh. Your rescues are just as much fun to watch. Have a beautiful day, Barbara 🇦🇺
Something I discovered on The Creative Cove, that I never really realised before, is that we can use Distress Oxides like watercolour with a brush, so if you accidentally glue first then want to colour, just brush it on. You can use an acrylic block as a palette with an ink pad, spray or a drop of re-inker. It’s funny since it was totally obvious once I saw it, but it creates some really cool effects! Especially wet on wet, which you can do on cardstock if you’re gentle with it.
I love a good dangle! (🙊 that sounds rude 🙈). I'm after some of those bottles to make a string of glow in the dark potion bottles! I have my mother's Pandora jewellery and don't like most of her beads so I'm going to use them in my dangles, that way they'll be loved again. Lol it's a trans-parentsy😄. You Mum is beautiful! Oh that cosmic shimmer acrylic glue worked great on my transparencies! I've done my brushes and labels and waiting for my mini file folder die so I can do swatches. I also have a space saving idea to store/display them! That's VERY pink 🙈. Lol smoothing brushes 🙊. That's a great page and dangle 😍. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Love the dangles and watching you go through finishing that page. I thought you might have punched through the pages so you could see the next page through the transparencies vs gluing the book pages as the background.
Well, after the video, you showed us how to make a bead, and this video I did try it. So, first, I ended up gluing the paper to the toothpick. Second, I was making sure not to glue the paper to the toothpick that I ended up with the opposite end. I'm not even done yet... I was determined to at least be able to at least do one. So, thirdly, I was so focused on making sure not to glue the paper to the toothpick and to start with the widest end that I ended up with my design paper on the wrong side. Lol, I just took the walnut ink and inked the bead. Oh, and I forgot to also say that my bead was very flat too. Lol. I watched your video again, and I did notice that your paper was longer than what I cut my papers. It was just one thing after another. I promised myself that I will try again. 😊
I had to pause before I forget... Just a warning! I'm afraid if you were to try to remove the Distress inks from the overhead film any dampness or wetness could also smear the inkjet ink, since it's water-based as well. Just something to consider.😉💗
I'm sooo inspired! Although I am still very much at the start of my Junk Journal Journey, I have already decided that I would like to make 2 journals - one for my father and his heritage, and one for my mother and her heritage. Both will hopefully 'culminate' with their marriage, followed by my arrival as their only child. It's incredibly empowering to see the methods that you use, and know that I will not necessarily have to use original material. 🧡💚🤎
Oh Barbara!
This is just stunning!! Beautiful memory of your parents! ❤ - love, Tonia
😂 Sometimes Barbara just do, and then “Oh no!” 😂 But, she always finds the perfect solution solution! This made me so happy! 💕

Adorable dangle. The background brought the page together with your collage and the ephemera of your parents. Beautiful.
Love you too Barbara. This was an excellent video. You look so much like your mother it's so sweet. I always save my negative from doing circles and now starting to do die cuts

Hi Barbara! Hint: Always place a dot with pencil or pen 🖊 where you want the hole punched. Works every time.
Thanks! ❤️

Love the dangles and watching you go through finishing that page. I thought you might have punched through the pages so you could see the next page through the transparencies vs gluing the book pages as the background.
