I didn't know about the bass effect in PP so thanks for that. I've been doing it by hand when in tight spots with the parametric EQ. I only usually do that to match different camera mic sounds though.

I've tried a few external mics for vlogging, but I just keep going back to using the inbuilt mic as I missed the ambient sounds and I found it sounded too studio-perfect with an ext mic and sounded unnatural. I want my viewers to feel as though they are present in the environment with me - to be able to hear the pots and pans bubbling on the stove, the leaves of the trees rustling in the wind and the cars going past on the road. In real life, if we're in a noisy environment and we want to be able to hear each other, we simply speak louder or move closer, so that's what I prefer to do. I think it creates a more intimate and realistic feel. I prefer that for vlogging.

    Thank you ^^
Also: Ask the interviewer to talk a bit loud.
And we can use, if possible, some lav mic windscreen/cover rather than the lens clothe (like the rycote, Ursa, etc.).

I never like how my voice sounds on a microphone. Once I worked on a school project using a camera microphone and I was amazed by how the sound matched my voice.
