- The worst floods in living memory engulf the Leicestershire village of Quorn near the town of Loughborough.
Devastating floods to the White Horse pub, the Royal Oak pub the Monk and local businesses. It won't be a "Dry January" for the White Horse pub @ Quorn, said one ironic local.

@@stephenpearce3880 Thank you very much for the offer I hope we will only have minimal planting to do. It's too wet and soggy at the moment to do a proper inspection yet. It would be lovely to have a areal photo in May/June when all the Rhododendrons are out. Thanks Jane
Do you have any footage/photos of soar road that runs alongside the river? My entire life is situated in that area, but i cannot get there right now to check it out as i am stranded by the floods elsewhere.
