    It's Great to see you back and well. I'm looking forward to more videos from you and your channel. This industry needs more people like you to teach the new and next generation of techs coming through. Me and my colleague do try to educate our apprentices on diagnosis, but it seams that they are more interested in just spinning filters

    Nice thorough video.👍 Interesting to see the Owon meter. I've just been getting my feet wet playing with an Owon scope. Very decent for the price.

      The meters are good, extremely good value and reliable, I've had this one over 2 years and it hasn't missed a beat, even considering that I've had it apart and modified it for an additional external fuse.

    You can check the amp range fuse with the meters own continuity test range. just put the meter on continuity and use the red lead probe in the amp range. The fuse is in line with a shunt between the meter inputs so if fuse is good you get a beep.

    Hi Steve, not sure about connecting the positive first with test equipment because the negative lead then becomes positive, especially on high voltage circuits like on EVs ? Just a thought. Nice to see you back and looking well.

    • @SimplyDiagnostics
      @SimplyDiagnostics  Год назад +2

      High voltage is different, were talking about 12v circuits here, in this instance which pile we disconnect is irrelevant because we're keeping the circuit intact 👍
