    Bad luck bro I haven't broken a front diff cover. I bet the cold didn't help at all. Get the Corally 7075 one especially for the front because it's a buggy and the front tower/bulkhead is very exposed

    Got my first TC car, the Kagama. What a beast it is, I love the engineering, very different from Traxxas and Arrma. Stuck a 1650 Max G6 G2. Does TC make any 1/5 scales?

      Yeah, that one was a first for me also. The receiver was also an odd thing... Just died. 🤷 Can't say I've had that one happen before on any car... From any brand. Very weird.
      And yeah, the arm and shock, I knew something would give when it landed like that. That was a nasty landing from a fair way up. 😬

    Really bad luck with the front end crack. I’ve given mine hell for six months and through the uk winter and only broke the wing mount. The shock set up is pretty tragic though and all the springs they give are useless. The only way I could make it jump and land was to swap the shocks to hobao VS front and rear. The things too heavy for its stock setup imo

  • @gerardscheffer8848
    @gerardscheffer8848 5 месяцев назад +1

    Ooof, I wouldn't call it bad driving but you take more risks than I do typically. Those landings were kind off rough, even on the small jump. Maybe there is a third option as well which is that the car is less strong than in looks. I hope not because it is a very nice looking buggy. Only time will tell.

      I want to believe that's what did it also. I've driven quite a number of TC cars here and this is the first one that's had this part fail. The only thing that stands out from the other runs is the cold weather, so it makes sense. 😊

      My mate has a Syncro 4 that we bash pretty hard, and each time we seem to bend the same steering part. But that's not on TC, that's on us because we are sending this thing to the moon for fun, which I am pretty sure was not the idea behind these buggies..lol. And if it costs us about 7 quid to fix after a big session each time? That's cheaper than a couple pints, and money better spent too.
      Cheers mate 👍🏻 Doesn't take a genius to think critically, especially when it's about what is basically just big boys toys. Great content sir, keep it up.

    Try bad model? No, just kidding. You sent it several times and it survided realtively well. I still have to unbox and run mine, I'm very intrigued with it because never before had a "buggy-basher" Just race and semi-race buggies. Any tips for my sparx before running it? Thanks Vas.

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  5 месяцев назад

      I ran mine fully stock and the only thing is didn't really like were the tyres, hence why I swapped them in the second part of the video.
      If you're into racing buggies, this will likely feel heavy and handling probably won't feel as sharp as a race buggy. I'd run it stock first and start picking out the things you don't like. Go at your own pace and no doubt you'll tune it better than I can if you know your race buggies. But if you need a hand with anything, just yell out. 😊
      Good luck with your Spark and happy bashing. 😎🤙

      I accept that absolutely, one breakage doesn’t deserve judgement definitively on a brand. My comment took into consideration more than what you experienced in your video, to be clear my opinion was not just based on your breakage alone.

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  4 месяца назад

      How is anyone suppose to know that without context? A little more info would yield a different response or perhaps I wouldn't have responded at all. And by your own admission, what you wrote isn't even accurate, so was it just clickbait to get a reaction from me and other viewers?

    • @rudiperez5315

      @@AussieRCPlaygroundOf course not, this is how social media works. My comment was based on my opinion and I think TC is junk for various reasons not just based on your breakage. I’m not asking people to agree with me, I am glad I swerved TC as I came close to buying one. I really don’t need to say anymore than that, I respect those that love the brand but I certainly don’t.

    I feel I need to do the RC community a service here. Don't buy corally junk. save yourself the frustration. Personally had them send me previous year model parts on an XTR. Shock pistons are made of jello. Leaking center diff. Customer service said it was a mistake. How does one grab last years fully assembled shocks and not be aware of what they're doing? I made a post about it and fanboy idiots were saying I was just taking advantage to get warranty parts...which I never received. I was ripped off for not getting what was ordered. Non-xtr parts on an xtr is criminal in one way or another. Save yourself the hassle and just buy arrma or traxxas.

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  5 месяцев назад +7

      It's really funny how I don't get any comments like this on my other TC videos where the cars don't break and instead exceed expectations... 🤔 Funny how there's always 1 or 2 guys lurking in the shadows waiting to step out into the light and "do the RC community a service" as soon as I post a video of something going wrong. I wonder if you or anyone else will say this when I post my Syncro4 running videos where nothing broke and the car performed perfectly...?
      As I've mentioned in other comments, the diff case cracking and the receiver dying is a bit of an anomaly as this is the first time I've seen this happen on my cars. I think bashing on TC or the Spark because of the breakages on that landing is unjust. That was a hard and nasty hit and I've done more damage from less effort in other cars and brands. 😏
      On a more serious note, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your TC car, but I find it hard to understand how your ONE bad experience sets the standard for everyone else out there. I've had TC cars come out here and dominate this track time after time, battery after battery, so why can't my experience be the standard YOU and everyone else follows?
      Here's my take on this; much like this session didn't go well for the Spark, yours didn't go well for your car. It doesn't mean EVERY one else and every car TC make/sell will result in the same experience. No brand is immuned to this. I appreciate you sharing your story and by no means am I trying to devalue your opinion, I just don't get why YOUR opinion based on one experience with a truck should be the one the RC community listens to or that it even warrants putting down the brand in such a way. And doing so on my video? Why? Why not take this up on a forum or deal with it through the right channels and talking to the right people?

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  5 месяцев назад +1

      Disagree. Both the Asuga and Kagama have taken on these jumps and passed beyond expectations. Although the diff case cracking on the Spark was a bit odd and the first time I've broken the outer casing like that out of all the TC cars I've tested, the arm and shock rod end took a very nasty hit from 4-5 metres up right on that corner. I've done more damage with less effort to other cars over the years, so I don't know too many cars that would survive that injury free.
