Thank you very much! I've been trying to replicate the 'Tina Bun', as I call it for 3 years (Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street) and this comes out better than anything else I've tried. I'll be wearing this almost every day. :-) To the person that said their hair is too long--twist the ends of your hair, make a small bun and flip the little bun underneath the big bun and bobby pin it. My hair is almost waist length & that worked for me. :-)

The part about splitting your ponytail and bringing it through is really genius. It's simple, but has a significant effect.
I tried it multiple times and it wouldn't work what so ever it hurt and I couldn't get it out.....

this is so awesome! A lot of the time I love the look of the final result with hair tutorial videos, but when I try them myself, they don't work. This one did, and it really did only take a few minutes!

i tried this just a while ago and i absolutely love it! it literally toke me a minute and a half. easy, quick, and beautiful. also no need for a curling iron! ^.^

I LOVE this! Thank you for posting. I practiced twice and then did it for a party I was going to. I have long, layered Asian hair that is very thin, so the finished look was a bit more messy/flyaway in the back than I'd have liked, but with more practice, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. It's nice to see a new, easy, pretty way to do my hair. Thanks again!
@heartmend Thanks! I'm not sure how short your hair is, but if you have medium length hair, it probably will work, too. Just give it a try...it only takes a minute or two =)

Honestly, I swear I don't even watch her vids often (if at all ;p), so I don't know which of her tutorials you're referring to. Besides, it could be a coincidence that we came up similar hairstyles cuz what I'm showing here isn't really that complicated. I just went over to her channel and skimmed over her vids, but I didn't see the same updo =/ Lastly, if it's another guru's idea or recommendation that I'm using, I can assure you that I will always give credit to that individual.

@taylahcullum That's just how I learned to pronounce it when I learned English for the first time. I was trying to be helpful because I was corrected when I said it like that before too. Can't we agree that maybe some places pronounce things differently, which I've learned? Try googling it, and you'll see that it can be pronounced my way too. I have very long hair hair too, what worked for me is twisting the ends and rolling the hair up until it gets to the bum, then putting it under it. It stays hidden and you have something extra for support beside the teasing.
