I'm one of those psychopaths that clears the map every day for extra credit income/crafting materials. Right now they reward around 100 credits per fight and very rarely drop purple crafting mats Trailvblaze level 54. I'm curious, are their drops improved at TB65?

Saw someone do 24 runs without a single purple trace mat and even the rest was nearly the same amount as at tl 50 (maybe it was tl 60 difference but im pretty sure it was the tl65 difference). At least we can say that the rewards didnt increase that much...so i would recommend to farm trace and ascension mats until 50 and relics after 60 where u are guaranteed to get two 5* but yeah, tl 65 isnt rly an upgrade for the increased difficulty
I found out how you can increase your drop chance so 3 golden relic drops come more often. about 25%-50% to get 3 golden ones. You just have to scream 'kuro kuro' really loud while fighting the stage. your mic will record it, herta will hack the servers and get you 3 golden relic drops. but sometimes she fails so 25-50%
From what I've gather asking around (twitch, discord, YT and friends) the triple drops for 5* relics should below 10% somewhere around 5 or 7% not really something you fish for. On the other hand you don't get 3* relics anymore, considering hhow useful 4* relics are you can actually build a team with them by the time you get three 5* drops.
@@Arvl. Indeed, they are more like a cherry on top really. The benefit of higher stages lies in the amount of 4* you can get, while it's true that 5* have higher stats a perfect 4* beats a barely funtional 5* any day, aside from the fact that 4* gives more exp for upgrading than 3*
I've been level 65 for months, I have over 200k exp saved up and I will not do that quest, the game is hard enough as it is. Genshin taught me that doing so may cripple my account.
Well, all the mods have the lower levels still available, so it's not a big deal, the only unavoudable part which became harder is the openworld enemies.
Also event (and chaos?) enemies are getting stronger, which is really bad. At least for events, it's far easier to deal with enemies levels below you than ones that are equal to you. I had really hard time clearing last event (with 3-6 turns limits), while my low level friends breethed through it because some of them had 15 level gaps with enemies.
@@rinslittlesheepling1652 That's a tricky thing. It's lock the event levels to your world level when the event start. So if you have lvl 60 Trailblaze level you have the event levels on that, BUT if you start the event on lvl 50 and during the event reach a higher one, it remain the low one, make it far more easier.
i guess it depends on what you farm, im still rank 60 and already have my main team all at level 80 and working on upgrading all their skils to max level. tho to be fair i havent wasted any mats or farmed any relics beyond the absolute must line outside of the main team, there was one point where i legit ran out of money to level up character skills, but i did recover fairly easily
Thanks for the heads up on the enemies, I'm currently capped at lvl 50 TL (max lvl 60 character) with 60k+ extra TL exp. I'm giving my 6 characters their 5* artifacts since after previously increasing the equilibrium I decided to stay where I am bc from my experience playing genshin, everytime I increase the world lvl (equilibrium) the enemies got way harder (difficulty spike), so I decided to give at least 6 characters 5* artifacts and prepare all ascend and lvl up materials ready before I increase my equilibrium. Hopefully my characters build rn will pay off once I collected all materials needed to ascend and lvl up. Update: so I just directly ascend my equilibrium twice (from lvl 4 to lvl 6) since I've stayed too long on eq4 and already have all materials required to at least upgrade 4 main characters to lvl 80. And even after unlocking traces, I didn't expect the enemies both in open world and SU to be extremely buffed😂 overall the enemis got way scarier than eq4

That kinda sounds like a terrible move. It really isn't hard to clear new content even if you are weak since you can just use friend's support. You are getting less drops/energy on purpose? Why?

tbh the only boss that is dangerous to me ever since I jumped to TL 65 is the phantaylia boss and im f2p as well. The others tend to just get annihilated by weakness breaking fast

I just got to level 60 and used 30 fuels to farm relics. I got some potential ones but god damnit the game is stingy with fodder. I managed to level up like 2 to level 12 and one to level 9 and I'm out of fodder. MIHOYO LET ME LEVEL UP MY TRASH RELICS AT PEACE THANK YOU
the way I see it, the best thing to do is before every 5 trailblaze levels to farm the materials for the next level for you main team that way, once you hit the next equilibrium level they are already maxed and capable of farming

I don't advise that. The rewards for Calyxes increase as you get higher Equilibrium, but the challenge of the Calyx themselves doesn't improve much. So waiting on taking the test is just slowing you down while making your trailblaze power daily count for less.
Im tl60 as f2p currently. And, i just spend 600 resin just to ascend selee n jingyuan to last ascension, and their LC. Just it, not even touch the traces

that doesnt make sense in neither star rail or genshin. the only place where it was actually a thing is in Honkai impact where the jump to endgame is literally in 1 single lvl up from 80 to 81 the game would ask you with 2 confirmation buttums if you are sure because once you go the weekly abyss mobs have TRIPLE the HP. ofc is still worth it because if you don't you never gonna get the transformation for the weapon that takes them from 5 star to 6 star and changes their effect and you can only get mats for that after the level up

This is what happened when I hit TL 65. My 6 out of 8 mains: hey, Seele and Sampo already hit lv 80 with their LC and almost maxed trace, the enemy's getting tougher can you level us up? Me: is anyone of you named Kafka? Them: no... Me: then wait your turn. Honestly I have to keep enough exp and mats for Kafka when I have excess sure I'll level those I'll use, but damn exp mats, trace mats, hell even credits are a rare commodity(after Kafka I'll have about probably 2-1 Mill and we all know that's not enough to fully upgrade a character). I've been getting sub-par relics so I don't worry about those very much, I know relics is more important than trace mats, but do you know how many trace mats you need for a single character? A lot a freaking lot.

Enjoy the game bro. Don't be like us. Now I'm farming a 5 star relic just to keep up with the demands in level 65. So farm materials for you first 4 character before going to level 50 just to make it clear, event challenges gets harder the higher world level you are. When I was in level 60 to 65(before world level ascension) I have a 50000 damage, after ascenesion i have 30k damage thats how strong enemy's are. So grind to your character. Relics comes last.
explain this Arlan can out dps General Zu Shan just like Hook can out dps Mommy Hemiko. Real question is Herta.. :D Shes a power creep that hits like a truck if you build her correctly
bronya if you want insane buffs on characters. Gepard if your team lacks survivability Welt for debuff Bailu same as geaprd but for healing Or you could get whatever looks most fun to you. For me bronya is the most fun because you take bronya, tingyun and silverwolf(from support if you dont have her) and just use any character to 1 shot enemies. My underleveled seele hit for 60k yesterday and my characters arent even built
Bailu is most likely the safest option. Bronya if you can pair her well with two hypercarries depending on what your teams need / enemy weakness. Welt can be absurdly powerful and Gepard can become an iron wall. Though it really depends on what your roster currently looks like and where you have invested your materials.
If you plan to do memories of Chaos and other high level content that requires two teams having a second Healer is vital so Bailu is kinda necessary (at least atm, there should be a new abundance character coming out soon) If you don't care about memories of Chaos though I guess Welt wouldn't be bad since you'd be able to break imaginary weakness and he's like Asta (breaking bars at lightspeed cause his skill is a bounce) Gépard and Bronnya are good but they're better if you already have several strong characters to pair them with.
this game before I quit was super frustrating. it goes from stupid easy to what the fuck is going on hard. never have I played a game where im learning the systems and it feels like im in a fucking slingshot at the fair zipping through the air and getting pulled back.
So what I see is when I ever do get to level 5 I should just stay there and farm for mats and stuff for a while, also wish I got bronya or welt and not a second Gerard and a bailou
Just lvled to lvl5 equilibrium got 3 characters to ascend which is enough for now to deal with the current hardest difficulty. Only planning I have to keep doing is when I'm farming materials or relic with a gepard in the team I always make sure he has his ultimate ready

I've been getting sub-par relics so I don't worry about those very much, I know relics is more important than trace mats, but do you know how many trace mats you need for a single character? A lot a freaking lot.

Honestly i don't find it too bad cuz overworld enemy isn't the main source of farming, SU is for the majority of players, while i do wish relic have better drop rates the higher amount of enegry balance it pretty well already, tho i do wish skill mats get a new diff for better reward cuz 6 blue ones isn't remotely enough to raise a lv80 lol
65 tl hardly change if you have good set but if you still have bad set please do not increase the tl level

Enjoy the game bro. Don't be like us. Now I'm farming a 5 star relic just to keep up with the demands in level 65. So farm materials for you first 4 character before going to level 50 just to make it clear, event challenges gets harder the higher world level you are. When I was in level 60 to 65(before world level ascension) I have a 50000 damage, after ascenesion i have 30k damage thats how strong enemy's are. So grind to your character. Relics comes last.

Just farm at 60 it makes nearly no difference.

Yea E65 further should actually give more rewards, after all I'm not in the business of getting destroyed if there is no benefit to it.
I'd say the transition will be a bit hard, but after awhile things get easier. But i do agree they gotta make TL 65 drop more stuff than it does xd

bronya if you want insane buffs on characters.
Gepard if your team lacks survivability
Welt for debuff
Bailu same as geaprd but for healing
Or you could get whatever looks most fun to you.
For me bronya is the most fun because you take bronya, tingyun and silverwolf(from support if you dont have her) and just use any character to 1 shot enemies. My underleveled seele hit for 60k yesterday and my characters arent even built

Bailu is most likely the safest option. Bronya if you can pair her well with two hypercarries depending on what your teams need / enemy weakness. Welt can be absurdly powerful and Gepard can become an iron wall. Though it really depends on what your roster currently looks like and where you have invested your materials.
If you plan to do memories of Chaos and other high level content that requires two teams having a second Healer is vital so Bailu is kinda necessary (at least atm, there should be a new abundance character coming out soon)
If you don't care about memories of Chaos though I guess Welt wouldn't be bad since you'd be able to break imaginary weakness and he's like Asta (breaking bars at lightspeed cause his skill is a bounce)
Gépard and Bronnya are good but they're better if you already have several strong characters to pair them with.

this game before I quit was super frustrating. it goes from stupid easy to what the fuck is going on hard. never have I played a game where im learning the systems and it feels like im in a fucking slingshot at the fair zipping through the air and getting pulled back.

Just lvled to lvl5 equilibrium got 3 characters to ascend which is enough for now to deal with the current hardest difficulty. Only planning I have to keep doing is when I'm farming materials or relic with a gepard in the team I always make sure he has his ultimate ready
And for farming materials the chance to get purple one seems to be the same as iv
