Nice video! Did you consider using the floor frames for mounting seats? These are the simple box style frames that lay on floor and then seat/mounts are mounted to this frame. I'm considering this model but not for trailering; it would be for taking with me (deflated) in my truck when we go camping pulling our travel trailer. I would have to inflate/deflate and get it to the campsite when used at lakes/rivers. Is this feasible or is too much work to inflate/deflate? Plan is for fishing using a 5hp outboard...not interested in speed or planing. 3-4 adults max.

Hello and thank you for your comments and suggestions.
The NRS frame and cross bars fully support the mounted seats. During pitch and roll the frame attached to the boat creates a stable and secure ride. I investigated the floor mount idea but after talking with white water rafters I went with the install as you see in the video.
To deflate and re inflate the boat with the amount of gear I had attached to it was not something I wanted to deal with. I made a custom trailer with rubber mat deck that fully supported the boat in perfect fashion.
      Cheers Mate!!!

So I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the 12 footer AM. How is yours holding up? Would you recommend one?

Ultimately we sold ours and purchased a Tracker Boat. We found this one just didn’t plain out right with all the rails, seats and two adults. If you are doing rivers with no motor, this would be great. We loved the boat, it just didn’t suit are final goals.

@@darlalynw Thanks for the reply. The boat will be used as a tender off my houseboat and scuba diving. I just didn't want you to say that the seams fell apart or that the boat ended up leaking air all the time. Ended up getting Saturn's Hypalon boat 13 footer. Thanks.

Isn't one of the main reasons to buy a Azzurro Mare is so you can use the protective tube covers that come with it?

Not when you have a garage for it. You may notice that we even covered the Velcro stripe on the boat side with a red Velcro to cover.the exposed piece because we were not using it.

@@darlalynw Yes, it's very nice. I have the same boat and am thinking of taking my covers off because I can't permanently display my registration numbers on the fabric and keep getting stoped on the lake and told that the numbers and sticker need to be permanently mounted. I've never got a ticked but stopped several times.

I think the best feature of the AM is that it is heat welded seams as opposed to glued. Much better in hot environments as well as for storing deflated and/or inflating-deflating several times over its lifetime. IMO covers are only needed when storing in direct sunlight.

Whats the ideal pressure to inflate this boats?

    • @darlalynw

There is no pressure gauge so we would fill until it was tight.
