At 0620, I CREAMED myself when he said that the new album sounds like Killing is My Business!!! That was the first album that I heard from them and I will never forget it, and one of my favorites. I am looking forward to it from now on, everyday till it comes out......

I don't think Dave's drunk at all, actually. He seems sober as hell here, he's not even slurring his speech a LITTLE bit. He's looking pretty good, too. I personally think he just sounds excited. He loves the guitar, and he's talking about it, and you can literally feel his excitement shoot up once he put the double V in his hand. Way cool, man. Dave's the best.

Years ago I bought a USA Made Jackson SL2. A year after that I bought a japanese SL3. The SL2 had unlevel frets, it wasn't shielded, the neck was unstable and had to be adjusted every other week at least and to top it off the contacts on the pickup selector were messed up and even brand new it would fail sometimes that you'd have to rake it back and forth to get sound out of the bridge pickup. This was a BRAND NEW THREE THOUSAND DOLLAR GUITAR!
I loved the Menza/Friedman era! Who couldn't? However, I double love the current lineup. Chris Broderick is an absolute gem for MD and so glad he's sticking around. He's classically trained and an amazing, off the charts guitar player. Although, Marty brought a lot of emotion and connection (if that makes any sense) that I miss. Shawn, well I'm not sure there's been anyone that's done it better. He's awesome and fits perfectly with MD. These are only my opinions...

I don't have the awesome hair, and I certainly will never play guitar like Dave (love you, Brother), but... I'm about as tall, and I bet I don't tip the scales like that. Nice!!
