@@CCTVnerd Oh i was asking in case you had some experience with them, I haven't tested them but soon I might have the chance (the "sentry" model). They seem to be quite nice, supposedly they have as much as X128 zoom and a laser iluminator with a range up to 5km.

@@CCTVnerd The cameras have a big aperture, around 90mm and up, so i guess that's how they solved the airy disk problem, about the stabilization they claim it has a gyroscope but i can't find more info about that. Im also a bit doubtful about their claims, reason why asked if you had some experience, what I wonder the most about it is about how practical is such amount of zoom due air turbulence. I usually can't get resolutions below 10-5 arc seconds during the day were I test cameras.
Optyka jest świetna. Jednak tego typu kamery wymagają ekstremalnie stabilnej podstawy. Jak się okazuje słup kratowy czy dach budynku też drga, a drgania te uniemożliwiają wykorzystanie pełnego zoomu.

Cross is on a Giewont mountain, it's 3 km away from hotel window.
Those other peaks are around 5-6km away.
