They really did. And they also probably went into this knowing that Xiaoting would nab 1st place, so the fact that they practiced so much anyway says a lot about their work ethic. I think this translates to their idol skills as well, since they are all idols who have also improved a lot since their debut, whereas some never improve in their entire careers.
Sullyoon’s dress seemed like the wrong choice, it seemed to restrict her movements, stopping her from pulling off big dance moves but very graceful performance . Eunbi was beautiful, much more entertaining and great expressions, pulling off all her stunts. Tsuki’s performance was vibrant, sexy yet simple, her expressions were half the performance. Xiaoting’s was storytelling through dance, she definitely performed every move with passion and energy, displaying great skill with her very precise movements. Well done to all the Idols, definitely stepping out the comfort zone, but showing amazing performances. All these ladies deserve to sit on that throne, but Xiaoting definitely was on another level.
Rumba (her first dance) is not something you do big massive moves in so her dress was perfect for that. But yes I agree not the most ideal one for jive however she coped really well and looked amazing!
The girls probably knew that they were competing for the second spot, since Xiaoting has years of professional experience, there was just not beating her, but I'm glad they tried their best anyways

Xiaoting's team delivered story in more solid way, not only dance. I find her team more interesting because they didn't only dance. The story, emotion, message, details, smooth transition are there. She is on another level for this competition. You can't beat someone who has more experience for years. It was good battle tho that everyone can learn from each other.

It probably has something to do with unfamiliarity. Like learning the movements to a new song they've never heard is 10x harder and I don't think they have much time. After all this is just a fun competition, at least it's bringing attention to Latin dance even though it's mostly just a couple dance with some latin dance element.

I hope I can see Xiaoting again doing dancesport on Korean TV. This is her expertise and she showed other groups how to do it and she killed it. Please bring ISAC back this year. It's one of the most anticipated events. I think the reason why MBC/ISAC is having difficulty is because most KPop groups are busy these days even the Rookie group already has overseas performances. Before you will see even the most famous group among the participants. I hope they will really bring it back.
I love how her preparations; hair, tan skin, choice of jewelry, dresses and makeup are on point. She was a pro and she always will be. Storyline well planned, clean moves, strong and sharp but still graceful ❤

Hands down and by far… shaoting. Her experience definitely showed here. Eunbi did pretty decent for pasa doble, its one of the easiest latin dances but hard to make it look good Sullyoon did a bit too much facial/camera performance it affected her chemistry with her partner
