On some models you have to set it to the milage (ODO) not trip A and then press and hold the trip whilst Turing the ignition to position 2 then the milage will flash and then reset.

It’s because he’s full of shit. I’m sure you noticed the dash had displayed “Not Ready to Drive” then he says thanks for watching. What was up with that bs. Dude is getting a thumbs down. 🙄
Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly, press and hold the trip button on the dashboard when the car/start button is in run position, then press once the start button to shut it down, then press twice the start button to put it in run position, keep holding the trip button, and you'll see the resetting in the dashboard, when it's done blinking let the trip button go and KNAW ME!!!!! THANKS FOR WATCHING N COMMENT
@@scarynorman5397 the vehicle is not ready to drive, because the engine isn't running. He was resetting the oil maintenance notification. To start that car you have to have your foot down on the break, otherwise the engine doesn't turn over. Kind-of like only halfway turning the key, but this is a push start. The man knows what he is talking about, son.
@@hh7184 Thanks for clarifying that. He could’ve mentioned that at the onset of his video tutorial to eliminate the question. Good thing little girls like you are interested in car repairs. 🤙🏼

While engine is off, hold Trip button then press Power Button twice. It will say Resetting... Keep holding Trip button until that is finished.
