can we get some tutorials for this please? I just bought it and its difficult testing everything out instead of just seeing an explanation of what everything is and what everything does.
You have a description of what the ai models does and you have an option to render 1 frame with all models and see which of them is better for your video you have some old tutorials who shows how it works
sooo, can we get more tutorials and examples of people actually using it on cameras like lumix, blackmagic, sony, canon ect. cant find many videos on this products that helps me be convinced to buy. seems like something id use but I need more reviews and examples
I have to be honest, I lost confidence when watching this video because you’ve done it in HD and not 4K so we can truly see the benefits. I’m not saying you are, but it’s like you’re trying to hide something. Given the nature of the product, why would you not produce a 4K video?
Wonder what the speed is on this version (for me that is, I only have as my GPU Quadro t1000) To be honest every single version of topaz I've used is three times slower than topaz 2.64 With the sole exception of topaz video AI 3.0.11, which is nearly as fast as 2.64. Can anyone tell me why all of the other versions of topaz at three times slower? What is the point of these upgrades if they're slower.
No idea, but I agree with you. This app’ remains impressive but there are times when I deal with unexpected errors, which has me think Topaz Labs’ customers are sometimes used to trial new tools and models.
Just tried the v4 upgrade from 3 and have to say I'm extremely unimpressed so far - I can't even run a 0.1 sec preview without waiting an eternity. Previews are taking ten times longer than I'm used to with v3. WTF? Using NVIDIA processing doesn't seem to help much. My system is well above the minimum requirements stated. This version is completely unusable for me as it would take literally weeks to upgrade a few seconds of video with my system that WAS working acceptably well with v3. To top it off the install deleted my v3.
Can anyone who has used 4 comment about fps processing speed please. My computer has a 1660ti, i7 10750 and 64gb. I tried different processing settings and could never get more than .2 fps. I don’t need to be told about the ability limitations of the 1660ti. The results upscaling are so well done with topaz, it is amazing. Thanks.

you guys should make a restoration software were we can manually fix video erros like vhs chroma, scratches on dirt on film and more manually work but with fast workflow
I have almost all of Topaz, software, except this one. I wonder if this software is able to upscale slo-mo 1080p ,120 fps to 4K? That's would be the only reason for me to purchase the software. Thanks!
This is an impressive and to date unique application. Indeed it is fair to say since Topaz Lab’s release of this product for Mac OS I have used it weekly for video enhancement, scanned film restoration, upscaling and time remapping. That said Video AI can produce artefacts (on a Mac) for apparently no consistent reason. The only solution appears to be downloading and re-installing the app’, and/ or removing the Plist (property lists). I have done this twice and still errors occur in the processing of video files.
Wish there were some presets to process my parent's old 8mm home movies. Actual film grain on tiny frames is different than video noise. Also, the pull-down mechanism in cheap 1950s cameras introduces a unique form of motion stabilization at the frame level that is completely different than the shaky handheld camera work, which is also present.
The Iris model works great with old VHS footage, it can remove halo sharpening lines with the Auto setting on, I would recommend putting it into Topaz to remove the noise and the halo, then downscale it to the native resolution which is around 333x240 and then use topaz agian to get the best out of Topaz

I asked about this over a year ago. This is Not a video editing software like Premiere or Davinci resolve so those simple tools will not be added. :(

With 4, I’ve actually been able to do a few difficult videos with one click that I had issues with in 2, and 3.

i can't believe i bought this software, now i can't even upgrade to 4.0 because of some error within the program?
Mac or Win? I was able to upgrade from 3.5.1 to 4 in Win without an issue. I *wanted* to install 4.0 alongside of 3, but wasn’t able to do that.
