Met a lady at the Saratoga Inn in Langley WA, a Bobby Darin song was playing and when she heard I loved Bobby (first heard Mack circa 1959? I was 7) she said "Look up Chris Anderson on RUclips." She played this on her phone and she and her husband and I sang along! I'm sorry to say I can't remember her name, she said she is a friend of Chris's mom. Fantastic video and voice! Bravo!

I love the Homage to the One & Only Bobby Darin! The clip is from possibly his Greatest Performance of "Mack" on The Andy Williams Show in 1970. Whilst Chris Anderson gives us a fantastic "Mack" It still belongs to Mr Walden Robert Cassotto.

b) The cement bags weren't 'drooping on down', but dropping down.

a) Not that it matters, but interestingly the original Bertold Brecht lyrics in German don't have any cement bags at all!
b) You're exactly right, the Darin lyrics are 'droopin(g)'! Bad Pimpernel for not checking beforehand.
