These jobs are not some Burger king jobs that one could swap easily. If that was the case, then these Indian origin resources would not have been hired in the first place. Many of these jobs are highly technical and its not easy to swap them with some random resources.

I respect Ankit Shahs analysis in general, however I have to strongly disagree with him on govt employees replacing indian origin employees.
These jobs are not some Burger king jobs that one could swap easily. If that was the case, then these Indian origin resources would not have been hired in the first place. Many of these jobs are highly technical and its not easy to swap them with some random resources.
You don’t understand the unsaid. If govt cuts expenses, then governmental contracts given to private companies (Microsoft, Apple, Google and thousands of other small tech companies) will be impacted negatively. Remember the mass layoffs of 2023 by all tech giants.
