    Sobering but oddly comforting. Thanks for the reality check and inspiration all in one video. Good to see there are others who have persisted in keeping old MX5s on the road.

    Guys, the content's great! But please do not use the "stabilizer" on the camera, it ends up looking super shaky and hard to focus and watch properly

      Even if I were willing to admit it to myself (I'm not!) to be honest it's probably not much use anyway, given every car and job will be different so it's very hard to accurately predict the final bill for things like this. Hence my point about striking up a relationship with the bodyshop doing the work so you can have a realistic and ongoing dialogue about how much it's likely to cost at the outset, and how that might change based on what is discovered when the work starts. Don't expect it to be less than four figures, mind. Sorry if that sound evasive but it's a case by case thing anyway. Cheers! /Dan
