    I forgot to mention one thing, if you are using Lightburn make sure to click the stop button to unlock the laser and allow it to connect. Not sure why this is necessary since on the other ones it isn't, but this caused me quite some headaches until I figured it out.

    Does it have limit switches to avoid banging the sides when homed.

      It does not, home is just wherever you set it to start, so you can just move it to the start position by hand and then it will go from there.

    Would it work to place this laser in a vertical installation? Or is there too much "pressure" on the belts then?

      For storage this would work, not sure if it would work for operation. Plus it would be much harder to hold your workpiece in place.

      @@DarkArtGuitars thought about screwing in wood to define the origin, which would allow to place things easily by just placing it onto the wood. And if the machine is only tilted to ~80°, hard materials should held without clamping. And soft materials could be held up by magnets?! Just tinkering. I thing it would be nice to have a small cabinet screwed to wall with a laser in it.

      We don't recommend doing this, as vertical will create gravity and then the precision and effect of the engraving should be
