Thank you for these videos. These give me hope as I have to declutter and pack up my Mum's house of 38 years. Sadly she passed two weeks ago. I have found a local recycling reusing charity and would urge anyone else to look up their local one. Nothing makes it easier to declutter if you know someone else could make use of your unwanted toot. Her clothing has already gone to the local school who are collecting for Ukraine. I think this process has taught me that I really need to think before I buy x
Hi I'm Lynn on my Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss I lost my mum three years ago and it really does seem like yesterday , we were best friends, ☹️, believe me I know how hard it is to clear someone's things out , we phoned the Heart Foundation out , but I was very disappointed in them , they came picked fault with everything (and there was nothing wrong with it ), took what they liked and left us with all the rest , then later sent me a letter saying how much they'd made and would I pay the tax 😡😡😡, anyway in the end a lovely man who was trying to furnish a flat and had nothing had it and was very happy , but honestly the amount of people that will kick you when your so down is unbelievable, you take care love , my thoughts are with you 🤗😘x
@@richardfinney5081 Lynn thank you. We are blessed that the main place most of the stuff is going to is a recycling Charity which is in turn approached by other charities for help. Am avoiding the main stream charity shops but for a few hand picked donations. Mum used to volunteer in the Red Cross shop so they know her in there and are lovely. I am sorry you had such a nasty experience xx
Don’t throw the coconut oil Carla!! It’s soooo useful for loads of things! Lather it on your hair as a treatment for an hour 👌🏾 lather it on your feet after your shower in plastic bags 👌🏾 baby soft! Great to cook with ( I have z separate jar for that) 😩😂 honestly Google it there are tons of uses! ♥️
Love this, Carla - you’ve prompted me to look in things rather than scanning past “surface tidy”! I currently have 10 black sacks for the charity shop….
I use unwanted shampoo/condit in washing machine instead of laundry tabs. I also give towels to vet or rescue centre where i got Motley-cat! you're doing a great job! gillian

Very satisfying but please keep going until you've tackled everywhere! Very watchable. Good series - a pre-Christmas clear out? - before we bring in more food and "things" although belts will be tightened this year for sure.
Love this series, got some catching up to do after my holiday. Definately inspiring me to clear out! We downsized 7 years ago and are still decluttering to enable us to 'fit' into our new space! X

Love your videos Carla. I pricked my ears up when I heard you were throwing out 10 things. I thought I was the only one that did this. When I need to tidy up I always look for 10 things to throw out or put away😂. If I lose count I start off again at number 1. Regards from Australia.
It's been a while since I went through my food cupboard so you have inspired me to do that. I buy ingredients for a RUclips recipe, then for some reason don't use it immediately. Months/years later, I find a random tin of coconut milk or jar of cook-in sauce - now out of date.
It’s my lower kitchen cupboards that really need sorting and I find it hard to keep bending down, the blood rush to the head, the aching knees etc.. I must try to do them soon though as I know I could get rid of done stuff and organise a bit more. Xx

Lol, I've just edited a video for my attempt at 30 day declutter challenge and I failed at 20 days! It must be the cut off at 20 days where it's too much! For me it was the accumulation of stuff that I wanted to dispose of correctly that added to my crazy Ebay stock overflow!!
