In the books, the saying is “you do not mess…”. I can’t recall any cursing by Lee Child come to think of it which means if it happened it was rare and not the norm. I feel like I need to do some re-reading to compare the episodes to the books now 😜
There's no swearing. I've reread the books multiple times, and I can't ever recall Reacher really cursing.
Reacher does not have a cell phone. The one he used in Margrave was crushed in his fist when he left Roscoe’s bed.
They briefly mention James Barr as a person of interest. Reacher says he's a shooter. "I ran into him in Indiana a year ago. He owes me now." This is a reference to the book One Shot, which was adapted into the first Reacher film starring Tom Cruise. :)
I noticed that reference as well. I’m glad they aren’t going to remake One Shot. So many other good books to choose from.
@@cheryljohns7541 True. Although One Shot was a really great book. But the Cruise movie did the storyline well. Whatever problems it had, following the story wasn't one of them. Unlike Never Go Back.
What book was it where I think it starts with him finding the injured woman who, if I remember, ends up kind of ambushing Reacher?

The most important factor for snow traction isn't the vehicle, it's the tires. All wheel drive Audis with winter tires are great, but if it has summer tires it is useless.

Reacher doesn't have a cellphone in his name. He borrowed the thrift store clerks phone. All he has is a bank account for his government pension deposit, and a toothbrush.
You are not into cars, are you? That car in the snow was an Audi quattro. 4 wheel drive... hell of traction.

$65 Million in guns? Thats a lot of guns. I think its not guns. I am thinking anti tank or anti aircraft missiles. Those are compact, expensive and would warrant the concern of the broker that they not be used domestically.
Hi Anna, you can tell me to mind my own business, but something has been intriguing me for quite a while, during season1 you mentioned being at a writers convention with Lee Child, but I'm wondering if there's a more tangible link. I noticed that Lees' brother Andrew is married to a lady author with the same surname as you, is it just a coincidence, or are you related by marriage?
This was years ago at the Romantic Times Convention. We were both there as signing authors. I also rode in the elevator with the winner of the Reacher look alike contest. He was this huge blond man from Australia 🤣
Anna, if it reduces your worry about Dixon, just remember Reacher's love interest was ok last season, and I think Dixon is a bigger badass than she was. 😊
Enjoyed the reaction - of course. Just wondering.... is it stressful being that paranoid about everything? 🤣 Even in Jersey, there can't be that many roaming snipers looking to take out a casino's Security Head.

the 110th catch phrase is the same as the books. I hate it, it's corny as hell and doesn't grow on you like sometimes a corny thing can (he said while thinking about the Firefly theme song) - I was hoping they were gonna use it as little as possible in this (like maybe the flashback and then the guy's kid says it and that's it) but I didn't get my wish. I like everything else so I just try not to sigh too heavily every time they say it.
