Mam, with all advancement of science and technology, why is it not possible to predict the earthquakes and tsunamis in advance, to save life and property?

Earthquakes cannot be "predicted". They are dependent on the movements of tectonic plates, which move at "geological speed". Plus, there are different types of interactions between plates. Do some research on this & you may be able to answer your own question

science will always continue to change. What some thought was true then changed with the addition of new information as will with what people think now is true. It's the plainly "unseen" forces yet to be discovered that will determine what the changes will be. So subduction is still a theory, until we can actually find out what's going on under our crust, but I really do appreciate the sarcasm

The advancement of science and technology has been for the benefit of the mankind, including death and disease. Why not this? Is it your personal opinion or the opinion of all the geoscientists in general? please clarify.

I heard the earth is actually flat and supported by 4 "pillars". And of course the sun goes around it, as anyone can plainly see.

subduction is still a theory, global expanse actually makes more sense geologically. We have no idea if our mantle is is all magma, we have yet to come even close to drilling that far so how could that be a fact?

Subduction does not occur. There is no mechanism that could force a plate move laterally across the planet surface. They aren't masses floating on water that can be blown by the wind, and no other potential force for causing subduction is ever suggested. Granite and lower levels basalt would both be subducted, yet only basalt is appears where plates spread. What happened to the granite? Nothing. There is no subduction. The planet is growing and continents are seperating. Mountains form by other

How stupid can one be? The bullshit comment you wrote is laughably ridiculous. Did you even graduate from high school? Gawd, what a moron.
