Congrats on the new addition man! One little tip I found when mine was that age- at some of the nicer baby changing stations, there are little plastic protection sheets so you don't have to put your baby directly on the plastic. They are ultra thin/light, waterproof, but they also have a soft fabric layer for comfort. Anyway, I found those are nice to have around so you're not contaminating your receiving blanket (and them forgetting which side is contaminated) if you have to change them on a questionable surface. Also, they are good if you want to sit/kneel in grass that is a little wet. Plus, the price is right!
Congratulations on your new baby! Kid-prepper is going to make an awesome big brother :D Two suggestions: 1) baby leg warmers. They're great for covering up babies arms or legs if the weather gets chilly. They'll also last a long time, our two year old has been wearing the same set of legwarmers since he was about 3 months old. Suggestion 2 is to get a couple of the binder clips from the office supply store (or um...liberate some from your office) and keep them with the stroller. You can use them to tack up the flannel blanket to the hood of the stroller on an especially bright day, or if you get caught in a bit of a drizzle and don't have a rain cover.
Congrats. I have a new daughter as well. This bag seems to be the one most go with. I really didn't want to get into any more trouble with buying more gear. lol. I was able to get all my necessities into my Maxped Lunada. I added 2 cocoons and a bottle holder to the sides and it was good to go.
My wife got me a diaper dude bag when my son was born. I used it for about 5 years till she replaced it with a maxpedition versipack jumbo. I cant recommend it enough. Both bags actually.
+Urban Survivalcraft The Diaper Dude is a nice bag too. That was my first bag, although I felt that it couldn't be re-used once the baby no longer needed a diaper bag. The verispack can be re-used for so many other systems.
As a young prepper who just had his first kid this weekend, I appreciate this video, all of these products are still in common use and I found most of them at the baby section in the pharmacy. Now I've got my baby go bag all set up
Congrats for your baby girl! We too got our first one just two weeks ago, so your timing with the video is perfect. I'll probably pack something simpler that I can carry as a module in my backpack: a few diapers, some wipes, cleaning cloth, perhaps minimal change clothes. Winter is coming, so can't keep anything that could freeze in the car. Warm "MRE's" are always available from the two integrated dispensers in her mom, but I suppose carrying some formula for emergency would not be a bad idea. I suppose it would serve as survival food for adults alike... Now that I come to think about it, would be rather perfect universal survival food? Does not store long though.
Great edc. I carry a very similar bag. The only thing I added was a mosquito net for a stroller. Adds bug and sun protection. Love it keep up the baby videos
Awwww.....congrats on being prepper-daddy-of-2!! As always, your module system is spot on. I can't wait to see how it evolves as B.P.-2.0 wraps you around her little pinkie! *snerk*
Congrats again on the new addition! I am not a parent yet, so it's very interesting to see what all you carry in your diaper bag that is also basically your EDC bag. Normally it's the mothers who have the diaper bags but I have seen more and more dads getting their own 'tactical' diaper bags and I love it! Great vid!!
Wow, this is a great version of the Daddy Diaper Bag! You are very systematic, even with child based kits which is great! You're children are very lucky and it really gets me thinking about how my Prepping Systems would change if I decide to have kids in the future! :)
+Joe Betts Thanks Joe! Yep, I try to go with the same approach to systematic kits for all members of the family. Wait until you are married, have a stable job and stable living situation before you crank out kids. No need to rush it in order to design a baby kit. :)
Thanks UrbanPrepper, this vid is ridiculously convenient considering i bought that same back for a diaper bag and my first child was born Nov 11th! Congrats to you on yours and I look forward to followup videos.
+TheUrbanPrepper Wow, are you as tired as I am? I just realized I wrote my girls birthday wrong, I meant Oct 11th 2015. Thanks though, I love everything you put out!
awesome baby tac bag =] havin a baby boy here soon so this was perfect timing =] and Congrats on the baby girl btw. No better place to live than the NW. Go Hawks =]
Surprised not to see a changing pad. Might want to ask Doc about the use of acetaminophen; have seen a lot of talk in the medical field about rethinking it's use at all. Just a suggestion. Love the channel!
+19radagast73 Last go around I never ended up using a dedicated changing. I just used a receiving blanket, if anything at all. I'll look into the acetaminophen in more detail. Thanks for the tip.
Aww congrats on baby preppers 2.0! I trying to get my younger cousin and older cousin to become preppers too like me. Do you have any ideas for a teenager prepper bag?
Thanks for this! I do weekly solo "deployments" to Grandma's we are an hour away from home so I have forced myself to get in this mindset. I wonder what u recommend for toddler's.
Are you going to do a Daddy Diaper Bag for toddlers? I loved this video it really helped me as a first time father to make sure I was ready for quick outings!
Boy. Just hit the 1 year mark. So now I'm trying to figure out if portable/temporary placemats are worth putting in the DDB or what 😄 Can't wait for the update
I see that you are carrying around bottles for feeding (breast milk). How do you keep the product cool while you are out for hours at a time? I like your pack and am trying to figure out how you handle that scenario.
I just got my UTG multi functional messenger bag and I couldn't wait until christmas because I would be using for both edc and traveling purposes as well and I couldn't wait for that. But do you have any video or other videos on youtube on how to be good at edc?
Great Vid! What about Kid-prepper? I have two kids, about kid-preppers age. I'm not really happy with the options they have for backpacks; most of the time there's just not enough compartments. there's only the one big an maybe a front pocket. Do you have any tips as far as kid backpacks with organization options?
+Martin Westerblom KP and I have slowly been working on his EDC Backpack. He's been switching his setup a lot. I hope to get him to settle on something for long enough for me to make a video on it.
Boudreaux = boodrow. My ancestry is mostly French-Canadian. Cajuns would say 'BOO-drow'' with a slight emphasis on the first syllable. Yes, I'm that pedantic. :D
I keep forgetting to make a daddy diaper bag. Sometimes my wife forgets to leave THE diaper bag when she leaves me alone with the kids. I end up grabbing a plastic bag and sticking diapers, wipes, shirt, and bottle in it.
I love that you mentioned babies having blankets as their EDC. I never thought about it, but kids do have EDC items.
+TheRos4211 Yep. Everyone has an EDC, whether they know it or not. A baby's EDC is minimal but very functional for their needs.
Congrats on the new addition man! +Logic Bob I may need to look into this more. I found that I rarely used it, but that may change with Version 2.0. :)
I wonder why trolls like to dislike videos sometimes? This is a good video!
Memphisfire54 running hot baby! Takin in jobs! I see you Memphis fd
Wow, that bag was like magic it looks small on the outside but holds so much! Good job.
Congratulations on your new baby!
Kid-prepper is going to make an awesome big brother :D

+Kelly S Great pro tips, Kelly! Thank you so much. I'll add them today. Expect to see them in version 2.1. :)

Nice I've been meaning to do a video along these lines, Trying to convince the wife to get a tacticool messenger bag.
My wife got me a diaper dude bag when my son was born. I used it for about 5 years till she replaced it with a maxpedition versipack jumbo. I cant recommend it enough. Both bags actually.
+Canadian Prepper Sweet! I've love to see a Canadian Prepper designed diaper bag someday.
+Urban Survivalcraft The Diaper Dude is a nice bag too. That was my first bag, although I felt that it couldn't be re-used once the baby no longer needed a diaper bag. The verispack can be re-used for so many other systems.
Lol. I used the diaper dude bag during a rifle class as a go bag with rifle mags in the front pockets. A tactical diaper bag if you will.

congratulations! hope "big brother prepper" is happy and proud.
+ARLO Acre (awall422) He LOVES being a big brother. He is already very protective of her.
Great edc. I carry a very similar bag. The only thing I added was a mosquito net for a stroller. Adds bug and sun protection. Love it keep up the baby videos
+Tim Gauthier Good idea on the mosquito net. I really like that idea!
+TheUrbanPrepper thanx. keep up the awesome daddy videos
+TheUrbanPrepper oh and the urban get home bag was great too. That's how I found this one. Thanx for that one too
That was AWESOME!! Congrats again on the family addition!!
+Prepping2endure Thanks P2E! She's been an absolute joy.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing...my niece is pregnant with twins and this helps tremendously...will be making a Mom & Dad version for them
+Kathy Jenner Awesome. I'd love to see photos of the Mom/Dad versions.
Not gonna lie your review was so great I started looking up the pack
Congrats on baby prepper 2.0! She's so cute!
+Dominic Scaia Thanks! She really is cute. I hope she becomes a daddy's girl. :)
That's great that you are doing that, lot of Preppers don't deal with this ! Well done !
Awwww.....congrats on being prepper-daddy-of-2!! As always, your module system is spot on. I can't wait to see how it evolves as B.P.-2.0 wraps you around her little pinkie! *snerk*
Impressed the wife so much, I thought she was going to suggest we get busy on a baby! (Congrats on the new crumb cruncher!)
+James Moncrief Haha.... That's always a good reason to have a baby; to make a new kit.
Congrats again on the new addition! I am not a parent yet, so it's very interesting to see what all you carry in your diaper bag that is also basically your EDC bag. Nice job! Baby prepper 2.0 is good to go.
+Susan Nagy She seems happy with the kit so far. ;)
Wow, this is a great version of the Daddy Diaper Bag! You are very systematic, even with child based kits which is great! You're children are very lucky and it really gets me thinking about how my Prepping Systems would change if I decide to have kids in the future! :)

Thanks UrbanPrepper, this vid is ridiculously convenient considering i bought that same back for a diaper bag and my first child was born Nov 11th!
Congrats to you on yours and I look forward to followup videos.
+vxeel Sweet! Happy early 1 year birthday to your little one! Thanks for watching!
+TheUrbanPrepper Wow, are you as tired as I am? I just realized I wrote my girls birthday wrong, I meant Oct 11th 2015. Thanks though, I love everything you put out!
I’ve been watching your videos for as long as I can remember. This is now VERY relevant for me hahaha
Love the new version
Excellent and timely video! I'm going to send this to my brother. I didn't know you had a newborn congrats man!

Congrat on your new baby!
Congratulations on the newborn! Exciting to renew the "Baby Prepper" title!
Hee hee! Awesome! Might have to have another baby so that I can put one of these together!
+Adam Bates Haha... Definitely a good reason to have another baby; to design a new kit. ;)
haha this is awesome! I always used to just grab my daypack and stuffed everything in there helter skelter...great job as always
+RevHiker Thanks man. I'm sure your makeshift diaper bag was still ultralight! :)
great kit congrats !
Congratulations on the new baby! What a thrill! You better grow a few more arms for bugging out. LOL.
Tactical child care! I love it. Love those Versapacks, too. Gave your vid a like, by the way.

Prepper*
2:42 "baby prepper version 2.0" 😂😭😭
Congrats buddy, ours just turned 10. More urgent need to prep now. No boo boo stickers yet ?
Thanks for this! I do weekly solo "deployments" to Grandma's we are an hour away from home so I have forced myself to get in this mindset. I wonder what u recommend for toddler's.
I bought a interesting diaper bag with changing station, It is useful and cheap :www.amazon.com/dp/B08DLF165G
Are you going to do a Daddy Diaper Bag for toddlers? I loved this video it really helped me as a first time father to make sure I was ready for quick outings!
+K Brooks Nice! Yes, I will be doing an update for when she is more of a mobile toddler. Congratulations on being a new father! Boy or girl?
Boy. Just hit the 1 year mark. So now I'm trying to figure out if portable/temporary placemats are worth putting in the DDB or what 😄 Can't wait for the update

Love Maxpedition quality but they always look to aggressive too tactical. Can you suggest a gentler bag?
Great Vid!
What about Kid-prepper? I have two kids, about kid-preppers age. Don't forget the Daddy t-shirt for those projectile burps. been there done that.... Nuff said
+Sgt Splice Good recommendation! I tried to squeeze one in but it's didn't make the final cut.
What size eagle creek module do you keep the diapers in?
Boudreaux = boodrow. My ancestry is mostly French-Canadian. Cajuns would say 'BOO-drow'' with a slight emphasis on the first syllable. Yes, I'm that pedantic. :D
+Baranduyn NoIdea Ahhhh! That's it. Thanks for the correct pronunciation.
Aw! This is awesome. :D
it's good to know that I'm not the only one that calls it a booger sucker
I keep forgetting to make a daddy diaper bag. Sometimes my wife forgets to leave THE diaper bag when she leaves me alone with the kids. I end up grabbing a plastic bag and sticking diapers, wipes, shirt, and bottle in it.
+Cody Barnes Haha... At least you're resourceful!
Why do people have people sanitize their hands when "handling" the baby...? It's not doing the kid any favors...
8 minutes no knife, fire starters , or edc kit
and for all bad parents the mommy hook can also hold the child but please dont ever do this
