I just bought it online today and it will be delivered on May 10th. So tell me, is it worth the hype?
@@srenesca15 just get it and see how you like it but this has two 6g bands and 1 of them is backhaul compatible. Its a lil buggy when it wants to connect to other routers asus if you use it as mesh which its wireless mesh for me in my room. I got a gtaxe16000 as my main since i got more 5g networks atm. They finally dropped a update like yesterday which wss needed for sure so id say get it and update it aswell

@RizzyReign I am currently achieving 945 downloads and 245 uploads using the Netgear XR1000 gaming router. Two days ago, I purchased the Netgear CM300 modem and managed to set it up today. What's even more thrilling is that I upgraded my internet plan to 2gbps earlier today for just an extra $4.00. Since the XR1000 can only reach up to 1Gb, I made the decision to upgrade. I am hoping to hit speeds of up to 1800 mbps for downloads and reach 250 mbps for uploads. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this speed boost!
@@srenesca15get a personal modem that can do more then 2gb up and down. You will get more. I got 130 upload when im suppose to get 100 and 1200 download when im suppose to get 940. I got a 2g download and 1g up i think modem sb8200 arris
can you change the 6ghz band to an extra 5ghz band? i just got a 96u yesterday and none of my devices can connect to the 6ghz band 😭
I have asus gt ax6000 router with 1gig fiber would I see a better improvement getting this router
i had mines for about 3 weeks now and wifi 7 is great when nearby but 10 feet away its very weak.
I don't know how true this is but I read somewhere when it gets fully Wi-Fi 7 standard credited with all the features they can extend out the signal strength through software updates they are just waiting on the Wi-Fi ppl to see what frequencies they will alicante it it's probably worth looking in to
