How does India stand when it comes to research output in engineering at an international level? is PhD from IIT good enough if you want to do good research? I asked Google AI BARD and looked at NIRF Report 2020.

Bhaiya Aaj IIT delhi nein COAP round 1 ki list upload ki hai. Kuch branches mein yellow column show ho rha hai..uska mtlb ?
sir my marks is 368 (obc) in mechanical branch and i have filled form in almost every iit .. and they all are showing in COAP also . but i did not recieve any interview call my be because of my low gate score ... so my question is that is there any chance that i will get iit seat in last round ... because just today i got offer from iit patna in chemical engineering but i will reject that ... but i guess i got this offer because for chemical engineering iit patna did not conduct interview..... so those iit who conducted interview will they offer me any seat my be in last round if there is any vacant seat available......should i keep a hope OR not.
