thanks! my gf got me a super cute miku figure as a surprise for no reason 🥺 and it's great but it is bootleg so i was trying to figure out how to bring her up to her full potential!
Girl, you are a genious! This is Brilliant! Woow haha the thing with the magnets and the join ball is a very very good idea, I never thougt that haha very good video, very good job, the figure is beautiful!! Now I know if I buy a bootleg and it came in bad conditions, Ican fix it ^_^ thank you
Yikes, please don’t buy a bootleg figure on purpose because by doing that you’re supporting the bootleg creators which isn’t really a good thing 😅 But I do understand, figures can be very expensive nowadays lol
I would really appreciate if you can show the box and accessories of this bootleg so people can notice the signals. This is very expensive figure to be scammed
I know that this is an old video but really if your gonna used super glue on the balljoints don’t put it together again because all the articulated parts are gonna be stuck forever like a statue or if you gonna put all the parts together with super glue you had to keep moving them not just super glue all the articulated parts and just leave like that no it’s not like that because all the articulated parts are gonna stuck together if you don’t keep moving them
Damnn. Amazing job. Especially that gun paintwork! I definitely want to try modding one of these too soon. If you don't mind answering, what size were those earth magnets and ball joints?
@Djouke Elferink, "face plates"? Are you talking about the magnets I used in the face? They're called earth magnets and I got those off of eBay but can't recall what small size I used. Sorry! I also got the joints off of eBay. Look up "hobby base ball joint" and you'll find the types I used.
Hi, I have a Kirito bootleg figma, and I have only 1 big issue with it, it is that I have 2 sccaboard, and 2 holes to attach them to him, but, 1 sccaboard doesn't fit in the hole !.. and I wanted to know if you have an idea to fix it ? Thank you .. and good video btw ! (You did very very well !)
There's only so much I can suggest without seeing the actual figure you have, but If you have a variety of small drill bits, I suggest using a drill to make the hole larger. If you accidentally make it too large, you can always use apoxie sculpt and shove it in the hole and then press the scabbard peg into the hole to make the perfect shape. The other thing you can do is shave down the peg a little bit using an exact-o blade. Be careful though.
I know that this is an old video but really at least the bootleg action figure didn’t came broken for you because almost all the people that are purchasing that bootleg action figure it just comes broken no offense
Understandable. It really depends on which figure it is and luck. Certain figures are pretty bad but some of those good and varying qualities. If you want to buy one, research it well and pray that you get a good copy.
I got it off by keeping her hip area in hot water for a while to loosen it up (took off her legs first) and then used the exacto knife to carefully pry the glued belt off.
Wow, not a bootleg? That's bad. xD;;; And yeah, it took a while to complete. I was lazy so there was a lot of on and off work. Glad you found it amusing. :D
i love this video. you should make more like this, especially about how to paint/fix bootleg figma faces. thankyou
@thierry muerthe
Well I might do more later if I get the chance... I have some figures that bother me and could use a repaint.
@@bezzycay9939 excellent, i will be waiting. 😊
I like how the video looks so old school, this is like 2008 youtube
Wow thats super cool, you really improved her design
Thanks Goat13! :)
The character's name is Insane Black Rock Shooter
The magnets are a fantastic idea! Thank you, I want to do this with mine now :)
thanks! my gf got me a super cute miku figure as a surprise for no reason 🥺 and it's great but it is bootleg so i was trying to figure out how to bring her up to her full potential!
It ´s look great!!!
Could you make more of this videos?
Awesome customization to the figure!
I love how the armor turned out! I'm kind of tempted to try to draw some armor now, actually 🤔🤔🤔
Thanks to your good tips of remade/modified, now i can do them sooner for the future.
It looks pretty good for a boot leg to be honest
That's so nice and creative
Even I bought KO toys for using parts and modified for better looks.

Fixing up a bootleg is almost like recycling. Making a better use out of garbage.
Ngl, yours looked veeeeeery much like a real figma, if you hadn't showed the problems, i would never guess
Excellent job!!! So how's the articulation?? Did you fix it too???
Hope u make more vids about fixing bootlegs!!
It ended up really nice! i was tempted to buy this figure (bootleg) cuz the original skyrocketed her price x.x,
even back then it was already quite expensive when you can only get it bundled with the Bluray set and you know Japanese DVD/BD are overpriced.
Yikes, please don’t buy a bootleg figure on purpose because by doing that you’re supporting the bootleg creators which isn’t really a good thing 😅 But I do understand, figures can be very expensive nowadays lol
:) simple moods, looks good
Thanks!
Wow, awesome :D thise magnets were a good idea :)
So underrated! Great mods. What is the figure name? I might pick it up just from watching this.
It's an Insane Black Rock Shooter figma figure (though the one in the video is a bootleg).
@@bezzycay9939 Thanks. I'll see if Good Smile has it for sale on Amazon.
I would really appreciate if you can show the box and accessories of this bootleg so people can notice the signals. This is very expensive figure to be scammed
cool.
still waiting for more
Waiting for.... more videos?

That's is awesome. But how can you tell real figmas from counterfeits? I'm new to figma collecting my self.
I'd suggest to look up on youtube how to spot figmas from bootlegs.

@@bezzycay9939 I think must have misheard about the faceplates then. Thank you for the information and the figure turned out beautifully:)

I know im extremely late but if i was you guys id change the joints as well
If they break, I'll change them, but so far they're holding up ok. The only problem I had was the neck.

Where did you buy the bootleg? Was it cheap? I really want to fix up a figurine too!
It has been a while, but I think I bought mine on eBay. Bootlegs are usually cheaper than the real thing but I can't recall how much.
bootlegs are generally 1/3 of the price of originals. So let's say this one is 60$ then expect to pay not more than 20$ for a bootleg
So how did you fix her waist T joint? You didn't really specify, and I'm getting into this kind of thing for harder to find figures
I got it off by keeping her hip area in hot water for a while to loosen it up (took off her legs first) and then used the exacto knife to carefully pry the glued belt off.
@@bezzycay9939 So the joint wasn't broken? The belt was just glued wrong?
@@jbingbong Correct. It was first glued in a position to make her look lopsided. I had to take it off and re-glue it to the correct position.
Дуже крута робота! У мене є фігми, оригінали, але і їх хочеться трохи покращити. Але страшно все зіпсувати)
Fake figma black rock shooter
maybe you should make the video look better. not the figma.
Nice job, i had to mod a plush moogle i bought once and it wasn't even bootleg. Have yet to do any figmas tho, looks like it took some work.
