Seeing this really made me feel good I moved up here in 1990 1407 Plymouth right next to the Northside City school off of Plymouth spikemoss and a few other people and knowing that it was that many Jewish people on the Northside really is shocking to hear and it makes me feel good that my mom gave Al here kids biblical names from the womb Dinah Josef Jacob Nathaniel shimon and all the holydays we did cuz we move from Chicago but I'm from Gary Indiana to Minnesota in 1990 spikemoss in the champions really played a big part in our life really the whole block on Plymouth and we did lots of our Jewish it was can be confusing we would get free toys from the north side City or activity or something spikemoss all them always gave back my friends on Plymouth with come over in 1990 on Christmas and they never saw Christmas tree that they noticed that we had a video game different things like that and it was kind of hard back then to explain it that's why I'm very appreciative to see this video and when they mention phillis Wheatley and I can't believe it was that much crime back then on the Northside I see why they had organizations and the north side back in the 90s to keep everything team and activities for the it makes me feel so good that all these Jewish people was here before we came in 1990 Minneapolis I really have a video to show mother and a story to tell a really make me appreciate the Northside of Minneapolis and the history I approve this message we always did are Jewish and our classes amongst ourselves and 1407 Plymouth is when we first moved up here and we always did Passover Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur so it feels good to know history about somewhere that you have lived Al smile my way from Minnesota

My grandparents lived at 1411 Upton north, they were bitter after the riots when the national guard stood down and let the rioters burn Jewish businesses. Minneapolis was the epicenter of American anti-semitism. Entire neighborhoods were redlined so that Jews could not own nor could they get jobs in Minneapolis. Earl was our Hebrew school teacher in St Paul. Linda was my good friend's mom in the '70s. Spike Moss epitomizes the blame others culture, and now Minneapolis' city council is Democrat socialist blame others take others culture, with George Floyd square still being a no Man's Land of sorts. Commendations to the Homewood arts fellow and Mrs Jacobs for holding on
