*No need to credit me if you use this edit but I would appreciate if you tagged me so I could see your edit!
Thranduil’s entrance into Ravenhill is so emotional because he’s clearly looking for Legolas and terrified that he’s about to see his only child lying among the dead.
Back when lotr is lotr unlike now 😢
I love these scenepacks but does anyone know how to download these videos so i can use them for edits
You can find YT video converters on the web that will take the link and download the video for you.
Or you can screen record them - but make sure they are on 4K quality in the settings first!
I use snaptube
Thranduil and Legolas are so alike when it comes to stubbornness
If you think Thranduil is insane for wanting to go to war for some gems, then allow me to present to you Fëanor. He made some jewels called the Silmarils which were stolen by Morgoth. To get them back, Fëanor caused multiple genocides against his own people, crossed the ocean to fight off Morgoth, fought off multiple balrogs before finally being put down but not before commanding his sons to carry on the fight, resulting in the death of his entire line.
Elves love to be all high and mighty with everyone else, but some of them are just dwarves with better hair.
In the original script, Thranduil was given a far deeper motivation for seeking those gems: it was not greed, but love. The gems were in fact gifts for his wife that she never got to wear and were later stolen. He wants them back as he feels they’re all he has left of her.
@@12classics39 this is actually added in the extended version
@@12classics39 akin to the story of Taj Mahal...
You cut the end part where he says her love is real to Tauriel. Nonetheless this is a great compilation!
Oh I didn't make this scene pack. I just repost them from a user on Insta (with credit ofc)
He went full Leeroy Jenkins at the end didn’t he?
I find it blasphemous that they went into battle without armor on their creatures!
Yeah fr, his faithful Moose died because of that 😭
Cool vid
