This is a great chip, using it myself! The great part is that it can easily be extended to use an Arduino, so it is extensible as you learn! Great video as always, Garrick!

I'm looking for a soundboard with a single & rapid fire sound capability, aka, repeats the sound at any point in the of the sound clip & you don't have to wait for the sound to end before hearing the sound again.

Have you thought of making a video on making a voice box for a toy? Like a pull string where you can program it to say anything you want have it say multiple phrases like say seven? Will that be a good video idea? And able to have sound files transfer to it

Because I want to put together my own sound chip that has multi phrase no buttons just a simple activation of a string

At 5:30... why did you not just use the mini usb port from the (adafruit?) soundboard?

Do you need to use an amplifier for this? What would happen if an amplifier isnt used?

Problem I found is the tracks do not interrupt each other. Once a sound track is triggered, you have to wait until the track finishes playing before another sound will play. For cosplay, makes it far less dynamic when you want to trigger thru sounds quickly.
Please correct me if I’m wrong👍

I’m in love with the concept of this board, but I realise I need a more complex aternative for my project. I need to be able to trigger a startup sound by twisting a knob, that sound should trigger a looping sound when finished that can change pitch and volume by twisting the knob more and when turning the knob back it ahould go into a shutdown sound. Don’t know how understandable that was, but any idea of where to start? What board to look for?

It looked like you may have touched the rest pin first. Just a thought I think this would have erased the files.
