If the father-son relationship these two have with one another was as common as it should be, it would improve things for everyone. Keep on showing how it's done you guys.
Your excitement is contagious! Never thought I'd be so happy over someone elses water truck! The Hillbilly is a perfect name! You got a diamond in the rough there.
Put a gutter on that building next to your tank and let rain water refill it, and make it so you can swing the hose from that tank when it's full and park your water truck there and fill it too.
It's so cool that it's all adding up. Most importantly, this is a father, the son situation and channel. I miss my dad so much... . Keep making the coolest videos ever
You have to push the clutch in when you pull a PTO out or you’ll tear it out I’m so stoked for you guys nothings perfect it’ll run forever you got less than three grand in it can’t wait to see you races love y’all
The water truck is awesome!!!! Great score. I love the exciting vibes you guys put off. My father and I would work on cars and tractors and act just like excited 8 year olds when we would hit a lucky strike like that. I am 54 now with 4 adult sons that do not share my joy of mechanical things, Mr. DeBerti you are a great father and fine leader, Brad you are an honorable and genuine son and I enjoy the energy you guys put off. I live in the Charlotte NC area and was lucky enough to go to Dale Jr's Whiskey River back in the day with a friend, we seen the go karts but weren't able to drive them.
Man you guys made my day it's so cool watching you guys work together. Has it always been like that I have a 13 year old and sometimes it's a real struggle
Maybe you should grease the pillow block bearings on the load side of your PTO and whatever else you see that hasn’t been greased since 1995. Great deal though, you guys stole that thing for a grand! Every now and then a deal does work out!! Congrats fellas
You have to push the clutch in before pulling out the PTO engagement button. That grinding noise is the gears in the PTO grinding against the gears in the transmission. It’s like shifting gears, push the clutch in when you engage and disengage the PTO.
I would love to come out and race this track. I have been following this from the start and has inspired me to build my own track at my house. Nothing this big but you guys have inspired me to the fullest.
I had so much fun watching this episode, reminds me of the stuff my father and I use to go through to make stuff happen around the house......and hopefully in the future my son and I can have the same "IT WORKS!" moments.....Like you said Brad, MEMORIES.... ...and the truck should be just called "Billy"....Billy da' Water Truck...Big ole Billy....Bil-Laaaaaayyy....
I'm moving to NC next month and would absolutely love to come drive in the "Cow Patty 700" Plus Dale Jr is my all time favorite nascar driver of all time!!!
I used to haul water to cattle tanks in West Texas is one of those in 1977. My boss had the last water connection for city water in Abilene at the edge of town .He would fill the tank and drive the truck to outer areas for cattle .One day the railroad started a fire along the tracks and it was spreading to the grass areas and he ran the truck backwards in to the fire putting it out as he went.
Why are we so excited? You got an awesome water truck for a grand!! I don't care if it's homemade or not it does what it needs to do. Super fun video. The memories are worth a grand alone.
You should put water softener salt in to keep the weeds ftom growing on the track.Akso you and your dad have such an amazing relationship gotta love it.
Okay. Time to find a set of used school football bleachers and set them up for your grandstand sitting.. With maybe a canopy. And then a concession stand for hot dogs and beer/pop.
What a steal!!! $2500 total invested.. I've seen old clunkers in worse shape on marketplace for 10K + Like you guys said that 1600 water tank alone is what you paid with the new pump! Nice work
That was a good deal even if it has 112,000 miles on it. You have everything there and the motor is just getting broke in and the tank don't leak. Awesome deal. Thanks for the video.
The smile on your dad's face after he coins the truck "hillbilly"! That makes the episode! If you need a go cart test driver, I'm about 3 minutes from yalls ranch and I will bring my old 79 truck! :D
I once had to improvise on some work for some construction guys who cracked the inlet pipe on that Honda pump, i replaced the aluminium with combined galvanised and mild steel base plate. It was an easy quickfix so the guys could go back to work😂
One time at cedar lake speedway the water tank fell off the truck and broke. That was pretty funny. A bit of intermission though for that to dry. They did have another truck to water.
Congratulations hillbilly looks good, but I know you and your dad will make it look awesome. I live in Canada but would definitely drive down if you ever need drivers. Keep up the great content!!
I would put some supports under that piping for that pump or you're going to ruin another pump face. Also turning the pto on is like putting the transmission in gear, clutch in pull the lever, if it grinds the transmission is stil spinning and the pto is not engaged. Used to run pto on semis I used to drive.
Your dad is such a kid, and you're such an old man 😂😂😂😂. Dads rippin the throttle, you're saying let it warm up. Should be the other way around haha. Good stuff !
Make new nozzles with a thinner cut to save on water. Too much is going to be a muddy track. That truck was used by the state and they had free access to a hydrant. It was probably used for irrigation
You should invite Sean Kerr from SRK Cycles, aka Bikes and Beards, to your go kart race. He has an awesome personality, and is funny. He'd be a great match for you guys! Great Video!
Do not tight the thread connection direct to water tank it will crack again, make between the heavy connection and water pump rubber hose for the vibration during truck movment
Its hilarious when brad gets excited his voice squeaks like he's going through puberty but love ya I totally miss no papa air guitar where did it go I need a air guitar in every episode
So I've been told I was born to drive. Nothing professional but dabbled in yard cart racing hear in there growing up. Would love to join you all. Gotta say cow patty dinner would be great to serve someone
A grand is awesome, but on top of that that truck is so simple to work on and most parts are readily available for it (some brake parts can be difficult to get) other than that the truck should do absolutely everything you need it to do. Buy an electric valve to turn the spray bar off and on and you'll be good to go!
How can anyone say that's not awesome and for 2500 bucks all in you can't beat it awesome video you're dad cracks me up let me know when you want me to come race I'll be there lol
I would bet that was from a small town fire station. Used for brush fires. You can. Make money on the side by filling pools. Just make enough to get the truck for free. Now install rain water collections. To keep the tank full.
Not sure if you know this now but you gotta push the clutch in to engage the PTO that’s why it was grinding.
A must!
Ack - I was yelling at the screen. LOL!
If the father-son relationship these two have with one another was as common as it should be, it would improve things for everyone. Keep on showing how it's done you guys.
My dad enjoys yelling at me!😂
Your excitement is contagious! Never thought I'd be so happy over someone elses water truck! The Hillbilly is a perfect name! You got a diamond in the rough there.
Put a gutter on that building next to your tank and let rain water refill it, and make it so you can swing the hose from that tank when it's full and park your water truck there and fill it too.
this
I would put an electric valve on that so you don’t have to even get out to water your truck. Congratulations guys. Can’t wait to see her all fixed up.
Just a long ass linkage to a lever in the cab. Like a hand brake.
Man guys, I love the excitement you two always are putting off. I need guys like you in my life on a daily basis.
It's so cool that it's all adding up. Most importantly, this is a father, the son situation and channel. I miss my dad so much...

Great buy! I think you boys have just set a new word record for how many times the words ‘water truck’ can be said in 20 minutes 😅
Seeing your dad happy make me so happy the Smile on his face

thanks so much for all the kind words bud!
The excitement is real!!
It great example of perfect relation between son and father. You guys awesome.
Man you guys made my day it's so cool watching you guys work together. Has it always been like that I have a 13 year old and sometimes it's a real struggle
You guys are great! I love the joy that is flowing out y'all.
You two have the best relationship ever! Freakin love it
Maybe you should grease the pillow block bearings on the load side of your PTO and whatever else you see that hasn’t been greased since 1995. Great deal though, you guys stole that thing for a grand! Every now and then a deal does work out!! Congrats fellas
Y’all ROCK @Brad !! Wish I lived close.. I’d jump in one of those carts in a second!! Y’all stay blessed!!
You have to push the clutch in before pulling out the PTO engagement button. That grinding noise is the gears in the PTO grinding against the gears in the transmission. It’s like shifting gears, push the clutch in when you engage and disengage the PTO.
Really nice! You've got the perfect clay to have this gravelled, rolled and lay asphalt down the road!🏁
Nice to see how happy you guys constantly are.
GREAT BUY!!$$
Imagine if your track had jumps and you had to jump the water truck! Would be kewl!!
Such great content Ty for everything....Stay blessed
I would love to come out and race this track. I have been following this from the start and has inspired me to build my own track at my house. Nothing this big but you guys have inspired me to the fullest.

That's awesome!
Congrats guys proud for you .
Great job guys, I always love your huimble attitude and how you come to the goal with being smart.
some much energy from you both its awesome to watch and what a great result you have had with buying the water truck
Glad you enjoyed it
Happy for you! You need a remote valve from the inside of the cab and your all set!
Man that made me excited watching you guys make memories
What a great find, can’t wait to see how you fix it up
I'm moving to NC next month and would absolutely love to come drive in the "Cow Patty 700" Plus Dale Jr is my all time favorite nascar driver of all time!!!

Dad was pumped lmfao luv it 😂🏁
Awesome and love watching your guys videos 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
That water sprays the perfect amount and width!! Amazing truck for the price.
You guys did great!!! This water truck is really cool!!! 🙂👍👍
You should put water softener salt in to keep the weeds ftom growing on the track.Akso you and your dad have such an amazing relationship gotta love it.
you son/father combo is a good one. love watching yalls videos.
Thanks 👍
You 2 are too much fun.
Okay. Time to find a set of used school football bleachers and set them up for your grandstand sitting.. With maybe a canopy. And then a concession stand for hot dogs and beer/pop.

Love watching you guys
thank you for watching!
Harbor freight 2” pumps work great! Have had great luck with multiple pumps
Awesome job. Don't let them get to you. You two make a great Team.
Thank you!
Love the Go Kart content!

You two are a hoot
An example for all fathers and sons 🥳🥳🥳🥳👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you for watching
Very cool guys... Just having hard time with my pops just passed Fri.... I just don't know..
I'd try pulling the pto all the way out with engine off then start it, maybe it won't grind then
One time at cedar lake speedway the water tank fell off the truck and broke. That was pretty funny. A bit of intermission though for that to dry. They did have another truck to water.
Congrats‼
I love it guys😂 i am dromen the netherlands and i love your work 💪 big fan off you 2👊
Awesome!
Hi Brad!! Great video. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
That pto sounds like every water truck I’ve ever driven. Grinddddd POP! More rpm more spray
Congratulations hillbilly looks good, but I know you and your dad will make it look awesome. I live in Canada but would definitely drive down if you ever need drivers. Keep up the great content!!
Im happy to fly in from Australia to race one of your karts!!
I would reconfigure the spray plumbing, by going to a single B max spray head, then a cheap air pump to control it in the cab.
Great buy guy's. Next time push the clutch in when you engage the PTO. Thanks for the video stay safe and keep up the great work.
Thanks 👍
I would put some supports under that piping for that pump or you're going to ruin another pump face.

It’s the simple things. Freaking awesome.
Cool 😎 finds brother love to get one of the custom 4×4 tracks
I would be down to turn some laps. Also you can set up the water truck so you could fill with the PTO.
@16:48 check out the rainbow in the water spray.
Congrats on the truck boys now your water boys lol have fun out there. Be safe.
F'ing awesome! That thing is legit. I'd pay you two to race those karts when it's all finished. Sign me up!
Check date code on tires.
Will match low use if same or similar year as vehicle.
I see a portable jacuzzi mounted on a towable trailer in your future. That Honda pump and water truck can serve a multi-purpose role. 🙂
YES I SPOKE TOO SOON I love dads air guitar it gets me smiling and fired up thanks pops
So I've been told I was born to drive. Nothing professional but dabbled in yard cart racing hear in there growing up. Would love to join you all. Gotta say cow patty dinner would be great to serve someone

Hell yeah brother
How can anyone say that's not awesome and for 2500 bucks all in you can't beat it awesome video you're dad cracks me up let me know when you want me to come race I'll be there lol
You guys are like 2 kids at Christmas awesome video
😊 thank you
Put a float valve in your 2,500 gal. water tank... to maintain 2,500 gallons in it at all times.
Congrats on your water truck… Cow Patty 700 Let’s Go 🏎🏁🍻
You dad had to grow up Watchung bill and ted🤣🤣🤣 with his air guitar going on lol
Nice job fellas, Now we need Cleetus, Jackstand, George, Kevin from KSR, Derek from vice grip to all come run the Cow Patty 700
at 2:30 i just spit my drink out, that was hilarious
Great deal!!!
HELLLLLLL YYYEEEAAAHHH BBBBRRROOOOO!!! That is a bad to the water truck!!!!! Homemade ones are usually the best!!!!
You have to step on the clutch to engage it
You guys are just like a kid with anew toy and I would be too👍
Yeah definitely use clutch for the PTO. It’s just like another transmission.
Dang! You guys got an awesome deal on that!
I would bet that was from a small town fire station. Used for brush fires. You can. Make money on the side by filling pools. Just make enough to get the truck for free. Now install rain water collections. To keep the tank full.
I have no need for a water truck but I’m jealous y’all got this truck for $1000🤣 happy for yall
