anybody who has test driven an aspire titanium plus diesel which has more torque and power than rapid, will never go for rapid. realistic city mileage of rapid tsi is 7-10, highway is max 12-13. aspire diesel gives 18-19 in city in worst case, highway mileage is 25-27.
If you want a a big classy premium sedan worth rs 13 lakh, just only in 8 lakh, the Rapid is for you, if you want a compact sedan with more safety and features and better diving experience (or you call yourself a fun loving driver) , the aspire is for you.
My choice is Aspire and just booked on 01.07.2020. Delivery choosen on 15.07.2020. Ground clearance, fratured and maintenance cost, spares cost forced us to book Aspire. Thankyou for ur valuable feedback on...

Telescopic and adjustable steering,Rear arm rest, Fog lamp, is available and standard in my Aspire Titanium TDCI. I purchased optional front arm rest also.Why you are misleading? Ford AC is so powerful that it does nt require rear AC vent. Rapid rider doesnt hv electrically adjustable orvm,fog lamp ,steering mounted control and many more things. Built quality of Skoda is good but do you hv any doubt on Ford' s built quality ?

A turbocharged engine will last a maximum of 1.5lakh km without issues.VW makes performance oriented engines which have lesser engine life.VW's 1.4TSI is a faulty engine,the 1.2 Tsi nd 1.0Tsi being much better

I own aspire titanium plus since 2 years. I regret not having gone for rapid. Rapid's riding and drive quality is far superior. Especially at high speed the displacement is very less.
I shall opt for Aspire for three important reasons. First is ground clearance. It has 174 mm which is highest among ALL compact sedan. Secondly, due to its sub-four meter length, it is very easy fo find parking places on highly conjusted Indian city roads. For this reason I shall always opt for compact sedan,(but of course NOT hatch back). Third is safety. Aspire has 6 airbags that will always save you in case of an unfortunate accident. There is no other car in India at this price which provides 6 air bags!

All spares for rider is available in used market( it's a 8 year old car it's new version is willbe launched in 2021) except its engine and transmission which will be a headache for 4 5 years and new facelifted headlights no need to worry about any part it will be available

I think engine performance should be considered along with safety as first priority.Rapid has 170NM torque and aspire 119NM which makes lot of difference during city commute and overtaking and fun to drive cases
Good Review...But as you say if I compromise 60K worth features, Skoda stands TALL. But if 60K is spent extra, The Aspire Diesel sounds rigorously heavy and non comparative as the engine and the mileage is phenominal.

That and the clear advantage of upgrading to a C segment sedan, and the option to update missing features through after market accessories makes Rapid Rider a winner hands down!
The first and foremost point should be the amount of car that you're getting for the money. I know at first glance it seems that Aspire is the better car as it better features for a marginally lesser price, however, the point to note is that these features can later be added as an aftermarket fitment. But will you be able to increase the size of the car itself or the engine of a car without completely altering its dynamics? Think for yourself!

WHICH AMONG THEM HAS SLIGHT ADVANTAGE OF PERFORMANCE IN HILLY AREAS?
You mentioned here Skoda Rapid Rider has LED Tail lamps but as far as I know they are not. Simple bulb tail lamps are there in Rider variant.
