This is a direct shot a MTV and how the same producers were making all the video's that used all the stereotypes.like the table feast Dionysus style....and eventually all the videos become the same.
Just wanted to point out that "dance the blues" (and all the other "dance this" and "dance that" stuff at the end) is a direct jab at Bowie. Who dances to blues anyway? Not exactly dance music!
Monty Python, David Bowie, Z.Z. Top, who else could get all these top-flight artistes to waive their astronomically correct fees to appear in his commercially non-viable promotional vid? No. Body. 😉👌🏼 ✌🏼😁🎶❤️🍁❤️✨️🕊
a great fun song to remember Franks passing. This is my favourite type of his humour rather than the infantile flo n eddie, or about tits fat women anal sex and queer bashing many of his fans like. This is about bands/artist's who give up all integrity just to get a video played on tv. Jacko got booted here bit the biggest victim was Bowie. Don't think Frank ever forgave Captain Tom for stealing Belew. I think you missed the point but maybe you had to be there, as it were. Good reaction nevertheless and well done for doing this on the anniversary. R.I.P. Frank, we miss you
@@stevedotwood fair enough. Personally, I think that's part of the humour/irony. Really well produced but shitty style music to go along with the shitty artists he making fun of...just my take
a kind of sarcasm and irony decorated with a very good melody. Thanks guys !!
Thanks for watching!
wowie zowie!

Zappa thought dancing the blues was oxymoronic...and they were calling this music Rythm and blues which was so polar apart from the 50's R&B,,,,
Did you recognize the Let's Dance video with David Bowie?
We did!
@@SightAfterDark have you seen the ‘silent’ video version of Bowie & Jagger doing Dancing In The Streets ?
if not, you probably should.

This is 100% a fan created mess. It is not an official Zappa video.

R.I.P. to a legend
Not my fav. Zappa song though - Why I clicked Little Wing. Elegance over slapstick.
I think compared to most of his "humour" this is top draw
@@paulfenwick8767 Nothing wrong with the humour, it's the music I'm not crazy about.
