Firstly I'd like to say thank you for this video because ive been finding myself viewing alot of non profit videos, but I am not a non profit myslef, though I am raising money for non profits. My question is. What can I do if I do not know what the audience will be per-say? I know that it will be people from their local community. I will be doing guerrilla marketing to sell the tickets and promote the event on top of the media exposure I have already been getting. What can a put for the audience possibly? Thanks in advance
Hi Silvrs, so glad you found the video helpful! when it comes to defining your target audience, your past events and social media/fan engagement might come in handy here, what kind of people listen to your music? who are they? what do they like?. What sponsors are looking out for is to know if your audience would like their products, you might need to put in a little bit of effort to getting to know your expected audience, sponsors deal with numbers, how many people in the local community know about your event? How many tickets are you expected to sell? might help to do a little bit of survey to get to know the local community you'd be performing in, I promise you, that information would go a long way in helping you target the right sponsors.
