- In Episode #26, we leave Muskegon and head farther south along the east side of Lake Michigan to Grand Haven. We stay several days in different locations and explore the area. We were there for the 60th anniversary of the Singing Fountain.

I live in grand haven glad you enjoyed it. The biggest thing about grand haven is that it is a cost guard city. The biggest festival is the cost guard festival. the fire works at the end of the festival. Has a very great number of boats in the channel.

This is really cool this popped up grand haven i my home town hope you enjoyed it. Another big festival that grand haven in know for it happen last week of July first week of august is coast guard festival.

You did the right thing going further up the lake since weather was threatening, A good stop that let you restock supplies and the light show was an added plus. One of Michigans bright spots. Enjoy

Yes we are aware that the lowest fixed span bridge (that cannot open) on the entire Great Loop is in Lemont IL at mile 300.6 on the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal. It's vertical clearance is 19.6 feet above the normal water level. You will see us travel this part of the loop in an upcoming video and we lowered our radar. 😎

You are cruising on the Grand River. Not the Grand Haven River. There is no such thing. And the biggest festival in GH is the Coast Guard Festival in July, I think.
There seem to be a lot of festivals in that area. And the coast guard is right there in Grand River so makes sense there is a Coast Guard Festival! Thanks for your comment GoGreen1977😎
