The constant orchestra hits make this easily one of the most bopin Mario Kart songs in existence.
I love everything about the Booster Pass version, except for... WHY DID THEY REMOVE THE BAHS?!?!?? They're the most iconic and catchiest part of the song! It just sounds, I dunno, incomplete, without them.

They go out of the way to get full orchestration for MK8. Some exceptions though: pretty sure 3DS DK Jungle is 100% just a remaster. But if they get people doing an acapella for this, not too far-fetched at this rate but I'll still be amazed.
It would definitely fit. Jazz usually uses dissonance and so does this song. Hopefully, they replace the vocals with an instrument though

They got rid of the bahs in the deluxe version because Koopa would end up dancing for the entire race
Reference to New Super Mario Bros. series when some enemies and some objects would jump or stop and dance to the vocals.

The first time where the Tour version of the song is better than the MK8 version. The vibe and vocals is way more unique and cooler than MK8
Honestly I also prefer OG Berlin Byways and Vancouver Velocity, but this one is BY FAR better on Tour
@@TempoKong I honestly don’t listen to most of the Tour ost but this one always stood out to me to how weird it sounds. I feel like they made the MK8 version sound too much like the rest of the games jazz centric ost, not to say that the remix or the soundtrack is bad at all but the way they took it felt like they lost what made this unique in general. I think at least having the vocals would’ve made it a little better
id have to disagree personally, though i think this version of the song would benefit from a GBA remix

@@MissOrangeBanana I have been excited for months in anticipation for this track and have literally been only smiling since I saw its appearance. AND THOSE AMAZING NON FLAT TEXTURE BUILDINGS ARE SO IMMACULATE. (I’m obsessed LA Laps and the justice it was given in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe)
@@kingshark422 i haven't played much of tour so i was kinda put off with the amount of tour maps but im kinda excited to hear the music from this map. it sounds like an absolute bop (tho im growing to like the tour maps the more i play on em tbh)
