how can we know the positive side of resistors

I can't see the color bands so well - I usually use my tester to measure the resistance.
@@scottfoulk7480 ultimately the tester is the reliable way to know the resistance. But it’s a huge time saver knowing colour code method if there is colour band on the resistor.
I agree it's just I can't see colors well.
