Ok I’m sorry if I’m annoying but I have to thank you for this mashup this year started horrible a good friend passed in November of last year so I took in her dog which on Christmas Eve took off she showed up Christmas morning with a messed up jaw (we think a horse kicked her) which was traumatic for fory daughter. Then a week after new years my cat died ( still don’t know what happened) so I’ve been having a hard time next semester gave me hope. Also the day shy away premiered my grandmother passed away which made it a constant reminder. I say thank you for giving it a new memory for me that is hopeful. Sorry for ranting but thank you for this song❤

This is really well done! But I think it highlights to me that Next Semester such a good song in large part to its instrumentation, chord choices, and harmony. The melody on top of shy away just doesn’t hit the same at all.
