Six sizes are covered in this tutorial: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months and 18-24 months. The instructions are the same for all 6 sizes - all you need to do is switch up the yarn and crochet hook to achieve the required size.

This is an easy crochet tutorial and I’ll show you what to do step by step. You will need to be familiar with the following stitches:
ch(s) - chain(s)
BLOhdc - back loop only half double crochet
bo - bobble stitch (demonstrated in video)
hdc - half double crochet
Inv hdc2tog - invisible half double crochet two together (demonstrated in video)
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(es)

Das ist mit Abstand die beste Anleitung, die ich gesehen habe. Super erklärt, tolle Kameraführung, auch das zeigen mit der goldenen Nadel und die Maschenmarkierer helfen beim arbeiten sehr gut. Und dass du immer die Maschenanzahl angibst, die man nach jeder Runde haben muss, finde ich toll. So merkt man schnell, ob man einen Fehler gemacht hat. I've read all the comments up to this time in my comment! I agree with all of them and I wonder about the lady who is having trouble getting the right gauge. I do not have any answers (so sorry) but I am usually the one having a problem. I do not know what I do but somewhere along the way I mess up some how and they don't turn out near as nice. I have to stay right on the directions, using the same exact yarn and then maybe. Please Pray for Me!! Thank you in advance.

The fur yarn I have is much longer fur, so I may only do 2 DC rounds of it, and add another round or two of HDC with the regular yarn before I begin the fur rounds. Should that work okay? (Three DC rounds of the fur I have would be a LOT of fur, LOL.).

I have bins of yarn I have either been given or bought second hand. I am unsure if I have any fluffy yarn. What I do know is I have always been afraid to use it. I feel like the stitches would be so hard to see. This is an excellent example of one way to use it. This video was very helpful, for me. Maybe one day I’ll get the nerve to try lol. God help me if I get it tangled like regular yarn and have to untangle it!! 😂

I just tried again but kept my tension quite tight. This time it is just over 8cm which is much nearer the expected 7.5cm. I am using some leftover Deramores dk yarn and wondering if there is a touch more bulk to this brand? I am going to try with another brand to see if that is my problem :) I'm still on the 2.5mm hook and not the 3mm :/
I used that yarn before too and found my project to be so much bigger. Lion brand baby soft is a nice 3 weight. Just bought the trim yarn and want to try soon

Your video shows round 9 as half double crochets but in the written pattern it says single crochets. I'm assuming the single crochets was just a typo?
