      Question. Does this whole conditioning and fake rotating work in low elo like iron-bronze. Because I’m this elo it seems like aim and knowing when to rotate is what’s needed most.

      @@PoGuy12 yes fake rotates would for sure work in iron and bronze since they almost immediately rotate when a site is shown with presence but tbh i didnt really do this in iron and bronze I just worked on otherstuff (but i mean im gold so idk if you want to listen to me) (im just starting to learn defaults at more depth)

    • @PoGuy12

      @@opgamer9296 ok cool thanks! The issue is trying to think like a (now bronze) so it’s like are they gonna insta rotate? Or are they gonna anchor a site after spikes planted like what I’ve seen from my teammates? I’m trying to learn game sense and work on my aim whenever I play but I just don’t understand how to get better in game when there’s only tidbits to learn from. Like half of it is gun diff/timing diff/frames diff (I get 50) so hopefully these vids will help

    Sero, I need a guide on Defense, specifically knowing when to hold and when to Push\Flank, Ive noticed most of the games Ive lost on Defense were because Me or my teammates were too aggressive and died off site or just being overwhelmed and unable to hold site.

      I’m not Sero but I feel like it’s not worth it to peek at the start of the round unless you have a dash, TP, or dismiss. I wouldn’t get impatient and push up unless I know all the enemies were on the other site. If you only see 3 or 4 on site that should tell you there are others lurking about in sneaky spots. Flanking only works when you don’t do it every round. Good luck

    • @Bighomer5
      @Bighomer5 2 года назад +13

      Is your team capable of stalling them? Consider flanking. Will they get overwhelmed? Rotate normally. And if you don't have info on either the spike or like four players, then mind that they could rotate.

    • @riker8214
      @riker8214 2 года назад +3

      Oh also, if you push up you don’t always need to engage. I’ve got so many free kills from taking map control and waiting. If the enemies try to hit a site as 5 and it doesn’t work then you’ll be in a great spot to mow them down on their rotation

    • @lukereiter93
      @lukereiter93 2 года назад +3

      Almost always hold and flank only once or twice a game

    Sero: You should leave the spike in a safe place when defaulting
    80% of players: Drops the spike as the round starts so the enemy can hear it.

  • @DanielHebell
    @DanielHebell 2 года назад +112

    1st default guide that nails it.
    Btw 3:13 (just holding angles, waiting for defender pushes - preferably at long range) is called anti-eco, my friends. You do it whenever your opponent has not enough money to buy rifles. It can lead into
    A) a default or
    B) a 4 or 5-man push of your team towards one extremity
    during mid / late round.

    • @walterwhite13
      @walterwhite13 2 года назад +3

      Just a question: when you are attacking and the defenders are on an eco buy, isn't it better to just 5-man rush one site and overwhelm them with your superior firepower? As opposed to playing 'anti-eco' and risk losing a weapon (for eg getting one-tapped with a sheriff with no one to trade you) by splitting up on a default?

    • @DanielHebell
      @DanielHebell 2 года назад +25

      @@walterwhite13 very good question!
      The reason you want to play an anti-eco round on attacker side is to counterplay typical (and logical) defender-ecos.
      Those are
      A) stacking 1 site with the majority of the defenders. The reason behind it is to just 'gamble' 1 bomb site. If they get lucky and the attackers choose to push that site, the defenders have a very good chance of overwhelming the attackers with advantages defender positions and traps they set up (e.g. Playing shotguns)
      B) another way defenders tend to play ecos is by aggressively pushing one position on the map with the majority of their players. This way the attackets very often can be surprised, giving the defenders a foot into the round.
      C) of course the defenders can also choose to just play a standard Def setup.
      The goal of anti-eco rounds is to get the info which of the above is happening OR at least which is the most likely scenario.
      As soon as you know or have an idea of where the majority of the defenders are, you pick up the bomb, group up and push the site, that is the least populated. This way you minimize running into traps.
      Feel free to ask follow up questions if there are any :)

    • @jeremiahpereyra1217
      @jeremiahpereyra1217 2 года назад

      But if your on anti eco, isnt it less risky to just default? Bc what if the enemy doesnt push, or they gamble a site holding for pushes? Then what? If you default you midigate the risk of them gambling a site and they are going to try to rotate the site you go, by defaulting you can go for 1v1s or 2v1s and win by having better guns

    • @rabbgod5219
      @rabbgod5219 2 года назад +2

      @@jeremiahpereyra1217 now im purely guessing here but i suppose if you anti eco the defender are practically forced into making an action, if the gamble a site and don‘t hear anything for the first 30 seconds they will most likely just rotate, if they push you instantly know and can comit to another site. If they don‘t show any reaction they most likely play a regular defender setup at which point you can probably just 5 man rush a site or transition into playing default

    Instructions unclear. I told my teammates to play a default round and they solo pushed every site and died

    i just need a series where you show how to clear / entry every site or some of the angles to look for
    I feel once we get some idea of this "raw" sequence, we can figure out how to add utilities to make these entry even better
    right now on entry I'm just jumping in the middle of the site and swinging my crosshair around hoping to get lucky haha
