Sorry y'all for not doing anything the past 2 weeks, it's finals season for school. I've got a couple of announcements to make. This is going to be one of the last lyric videos I'll make. Not THE last one, PA lyrics are still planned, but a lot of these are just getting too boring and time consuming to make. In the future, I'll create some sort of wiki with lyrics and information of each track/sample. I'm also planning to make my own original content soon. It started with Truth, which I'll admit was a bit half-assed, but whatever, we gotta start somewhere. My first album will be like Everywhere, an Empty Bliss, but with different samples. (Not different covers of each song, but entirely different recordings.) I know copying The Caretaker like this is frowned upon but I wanted to make it for fun, and y'know I'm still learning. Around the start of the summer, I'll be releasing another album, but I don't want to spoil anything about it just yet. Stay tuned for that. That's all I really gotta say, so take care.
Yooo, I like your stuff man keep going. I also like all the caretaker copies too, I wouldn't rlly care if you made a fanmade album, i cant wait for your upcoming piece!
I feel what makes it sad for many people, such as myself, we had only just known of the caretakers existence, and we want to hear more. But we remember that this is it. This song is the last recollection from the caretakers mind. It wasn’t dark, or scary, or empty. It was a release.
its so unfortunate how his main thing is memory loss, (almost) every album leyland kirby released as the caretaker dealt with memory loss, and now its over
@@DannyCheezits leyland kirby created this character called the caretaker, and in my own interpretation i think he was very cultured and had alot of treasured memories but (almost) every album he has of him focuses on memory loss (i.e theoretically pure anterograde amnesia, persistent repetition of phrases, an empty bliss beyond this world, etc) so he is born to lose his memories, and it all ends in everywhere at the end of time where he dies losing all of his memories
This song hits hard considering my grandma is catholic extremely. Just knowing one day she could get dementia sends chills, because she’s sang this before.
I didn't cry on the caretaker songs, until now, after translating the lyrics to spanish, i was signing the song and crying at the same time, i can't understand why, but it happened.

It’s sampled multiple times to show the deterioration of memories by distorting and slowing down the song until it’s barely even recognisable, almost as if the song its self is a memory
They were found in the vocal score of "A Selection From The Passion Of Our Lord According To St. Luke." by Paterson's Publications, released in 1926. The tracks name is known as "O Jesu Christ, Thy Cross doth call me."

I like to think that this isn't doesn't only represent terminal lucidity but is also used as the song for The Caretakers funeral, which would explain why the last minute is completely silent, where even the white noise becomes silent and the crackles have no more crackleling to do as the brain can't die after dying.
