I agree but people give Jake to much praise that ppl forget how much other ppl got hurt especially Hailey and Drew. Ppl forget how Hailey also got bullied, also imagine being at a talent show and messing up in front of the entire school and being bullied for that also what Jake said in episode 9 probably hurt her even if he didn’t mean it. It was clear that Hailey liked Jake and how important the music band competition so losing Jake probably hurt her. Now talking about Drew it’s messed up how no one told him about a cheating girlfriend and imagine losing a friend you have been having and ditching you for ppl that Jake knew for a month. Ppl praise Jake to much that ppl forgot how much other ppl got hurt, and I really feel bad for Jake to like really bad.

Can we take a moment to appreciate Drew? He saved Jake when he didn’t fit in, He protected him from the bully’s, He has always been there for Jake, He never talked bad about Jake, He never hurt Jake (intentionally), He might a bully but at least he’s someone to trust and know your safe with and yes I know he bullied the mush club but he just wanted to have his best friend back (Jake)

Drew never directly judged Jake for his passion about singing. Jake never told him he liked singing so Drew just didn't know. Other than that Drew really cares about him. When Jake couldn't answer his bully Drew noticed that and protected Jake.
I don't know why but i like Jomies more. They're not the best but I think they're better than music club.

When I was in 8th grade, there was a recording sent to my friends from an unknown number, where if you hear a snippet it sounds like I was badmouthing them, but if you heard the whole thing it was actually me saying that even if people say bad stuff about them then I would still stay with them. I lost all my friends, and it turned out that it was one of the people in my friend group who was jealous because their crush had a crush on me. Anyways, the whole episode hit really close to home, to the point it was kinda triggering to watch, but I honestly hate how they didn't listen to him, since I went through the same thing.
I also don't get why they would believe it when it came from Zoey, who they knew bullied them and hated them, to the point she would want to tear apart their friendships. Like, how were they not at least a little suspicious that she had twisted the story? And even if it wasn't Zoey like I think it is, the same thing would apply to everyone else in the Jomies and it would (not really) apply to Lia. So, I've been binge watching these reaction videos, kinda hoping my friends find out about the truth in a similar way, or just any way. Also this literally happened a couple months ago, so yeah

I hope you feel better, the same thing happened to me, and all my friends are gone. It turned out that it was one of my friends that was jealous of me bc I made everyone laugh and everyone loved my company. Now I'm known as a freak, or an outcast.

I really hope that in the show that the music club realizes that the reason why it was hard for Jake to pick sides was because he didn't find anyone to confide in or be friends with when bullied, whereas the music club found each other. So while they're experiences are similar the outcome is super different

Fam I haven't seen that much of the music freaks but I'm glad I did. What BOTH groups did to Jake was horrible. The music freaks actively emotionally manipulated and guilt tripped Jake and the bullies did the same thing. It's like both groups have been having a feud from Middle school but then got Jake caught in the middle, constantly forcing him to pick a side and it's not fair to Jake. I honestly don't feel that muck sympathy for the Music Freaks in episode 9 with the way they've been treating him up until now. They treated him like dog shite and now they're mad!? HONESTLY justice for Jake. He doesn't deserve any of this. And if ANYONE blames Jake then something is wrong with you.

Ngl i feel like Jake will always be Relatable to me since most of things happened to me especially the bullying.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve re-watched this.
i feel like if they knew how messed up jake actually is and felt inside they would be terrified. rather up to now, they've been seeing him (at the start) as the typical bully, after they knew him but still never really trusted him unless jake did stuff for them. jake only wants a place to fit in, doesn't want the same to happen like in middle school, but his constant feeling of wanting acceptance anywhere lead him to be with people who socially pressured him to be someone he's not so he wouldn't be bullied anymore, and when he found a place he could finally be himself that other feeling of being scared towards something bad ever happening again lead him to say all that stuff and for everything to repeat again..

I think Luke is probably more mad the Zander deep inside because Luke said to Jake in the first video, “If you ever hurt Zander, then you’ll be dealing with me, after” and what Jake said hurt Zander emotionally, so I think Luke would have some sort of revenge on Jake, a theory of mine’s is that Luke is a very chill person, but on the inside, he probably has worse anger issues than Zander

*⚠️spoilers⚠️* i know im late but for anyone who doesnt know why jake had said all that stuff is because he was pressured into it and was pushed by the anger from his past trauma, as it shows in the video he was bullied and he had nobody he was titled as a “freak”. drew and the others were the first people to be friends with him and that made him glad somebody wanted to be friends with him, then when jake had said that all zoey recorded it then sent it to lia. without zoey knowing lia sent it to the music club and they got mad at him for it even though he didnt mean what he said, then when zoey found out that lia had posted it she got mad and sent it to the whole school. thats where its at currently, cant wait for the next episode. 🎤🎵

I stand mostly on Jake's side even if I know their pov. I'm more okay with the jomies as they only know that he wanted to join the music club for daisy, they didn't know about other things, like Jake's passion for music or he got bullied. Drew may have guest that Jake is bullied by that person seeing how his reaction was, but he didn't know the reason as Jake didn't say anything about it, so the jomies didn't know about it. so in their pov the music club is just a way for him to got his girl, not really going to stay there forever so they didn't change their way as again Jake never explained to them(because he's afraid to be bullied). so I stand with the jomies even if they are not as good as you see them as, they truly care for Jake or why would they want go out of their way to find him to spend time with him? so yes they may seem toxic to you but if you look it in that way, they aren't, it's just Jake never really explaining to them, while Zoey is the bitch.

but I understand it's hard to trust someone who was a bully before, but for me, they aren't really bullies as they are just jerks. they don't do physical attack and they only verbally all them names at times and I don't think they went out of their way to find trouble with them. I seen bullies way worse from mangas and show, they attack physically and would destroy your things. And would go out of their way to find you. like the only thing they have is similar is calling them freaks, which is also as bad but they would never go out of their way to find the music group to do it. it's more like a child calling you out everytime you passby by chance.
so I think that the much group is more toxic then them, if jakes group was interred in music even a little, then Jake would have been a happy person. while jomies did want Jake to cut ties with the music club, it was because how they treated him, but they never out right say it like the music club (I think so? not sure )and wasn't really forceful about it. only drew as he's jealous but that is just him wanting to spend time with Jake as they were best friends and it's normal(to some degree, might be beacuse he liked Jake but doesn't know it himself). And Jomies did said it once because they thought Jake wanted to date daisy and only joined for her, if he started with him saying he joined for the music, the whole thing might have been different, there was also Zoey driving the force. if Jake explained maybe they would have supported him and may even start a club just for him you know. their care isn't half- assed like Haileys. but Hailey has anxiety so I would cut her some slack.

I fell like Hailey is most toxic one in the music club. I don't know why but I don't like her. And you're right. I wrote something like this too. Jomies didn't know Jake had passion for singing. Plus they wasn't really wrong about the things they said to Jake. Also Hailey told him to choose between music club and jomies. Jake was right about the things he said. He was just rude.
@@antivoidgirl ya, don't know why but I just don't like Hailey even though she has her own set of problems. while Jake's words does hurt people and I understand that, but after the fight Hailey, the one Jake talk/eplain about himself too didn't make things better or talk at all.(Im not sure but don't think that Jake ever got the chance to fully explain himself right> even after they fight)
