  • In this episode, Syl walks you through how to control flash using the menu of your camera -- a feature available to EOS users for several years now. It's a phenomenal system, that even users of previous Speedlites like the 580EX II and 430EX II can take advantage of.

CanonUSA or anyone, how do you setup or use wireless radio in "Ext A /or Ext M" mode?
I know it can do wireless radio in TTL & M modes.

Great video! I hope you make a video-series specifically for the EOS R system when using flash. I already noticed several differences.

Does anyone have any idea what to do if the links drop? My canon 600exII-rt speedlites keep dropping their link to eachother and when linked to the transmitter. Same channel, Same ID. Please HELP!

      Hello KK:
You may want to run the transmission channel scan to determine the channel with the best reception and then set the units for that channel. Details are on page 65 of the speedlite manual. Here is a shortcut: Canon.us/tsprt. If you continue to have trouble our camera support agents can help. You can find your personalized support options in your My Canon Account at canon.us/account.
      We hope this information helps
